You can get a smaller box on Amazon link.

Here is the one that Sam's Club lists but with a price: $105.75.

btw I'd totally like to get my hands on some.

"Mighty Canada" - how kind!

Yes I will be importing. Something along the lines of this - http://www.amazon.com/Kraft-American-Cheese-Singles-package/dp/B001YJ4YHG
I apologize if that is just totally offensive to your sense of taste.

Looking at pictures of doner kebabs, they seem to look a lot like what we would just refer to offhand as a pita, though the vertical spit isn't a part of the experience. In my city (it's different across the country) we enjoy pizza, cheeseburgers or a burrito to round out the night. Mornings are usually met with a large breakfast or a massive (and cheap) Filipino buffet. Recently we tried to combine the burger and the pizza into one meal, though it has a distinct Frankenstein vibe to it and everyone is a bit nervous to try it out.

shred chicken. pour 1/4 cup or so salsa verde on a plate. coat flour tortillas on both sides with the salsa on the plate. fill with the chicken, shredded monterey jack, and whatever else you would like: onions, jalapenos, serranos, etc. roll them up and place them in a disposable aluminum pan. pour remaining salsa over them and sprinkle enough monterey jack on top to cover. then egg at 350ish til the cheese is browned or gooey enough to your liking. serve with sour cream. you can also sub queso fresco for monterrey jack if you prefer. you can also make homemade salsa if you prefer but i aint got time for that lol

sorry i forgot the after pic. they didnt last long

Kraft makes it.

Stores may not carry it because we have been conditioned to view it an the anemic, lower quality version, but it is certainly manufactured.

I only ever buy white American when my deli is out of yellow.
I HATE it for no other reason than "It's just not right."

This is true, you can! Although I found it at my local food service outlet store (a cash-and-carry Sysco outlet.) And if you have a GFS store in town you may be able to find it there as well.

ETA: This is this correct cheese referenced in my recipe. I don't know what alchemy they do to it to make it different but it does make a tangible difference from regular WhAm.

Lots of Tex Mex restaurants use Land O Lakes American Extra Melt White Process Cheese Loaf which is not sold in grocery stores. There is an old discussion on reddit here.

I hate it that this is the answer but this is the answer: http://www.amazon.com/Land-Lakes-American-Process-Cheese/dp/B00B04AE0Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413368889&sr=8-1&keywords=land+o+lakes+extra+melt

i held out hope it was a type of cheese or a process. Nope. Cheapest and easiest possible way. I feel dirty I love it so much.

They only sell it by the case in 5 lb blocks on the internet. So...get some friends.

Sams carries it as noted.

i've studied this a lot and have tried all of the Mexican soft cheeses. This is what restaurants use according to what I've seen on the internet and through experimentation.

if you don't have a Sams around then Velveeta Queso is close.
