Seconding this. You definitely don't want anything that will add extra volume, because drag.

I'm somewhere around 39-28-38 and I've worn this suit for years. Usually swimoutlet and metroswimshop are my go-tos for practice suits, but Amazon will make returns easy in case it's not what you want :)

Search brands you like already and see if they offer long or tall sizes. Speedo has this tall swimsuit that a 6-foot reviewer says fits perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/Speedo-Powerflex-Moderate-Ultraback-Swimsuit/dp/B000YJ31TO

Excellent. You're emphasizing the two most important points Im making here. I think you get it, but for the benefit of other I have a generous nature so I wouldn't want any of the online community get themselves in trouble! Also, the fact I use an anonymous social media platform to voice what I actually think about things should speak volumes about this issue.

  1. Context is very important, no doubt about it, as with any grievance. However, this policy is not removing context from the analysis, I doubt that can be legally done absent extreme cases (drug use, and even that has a human rights bent). All this policy is doing is putting the union on notice that mgmt can discipline for inappropriate social media use that may, for example, depict line-crossing beach attire. There is a difference between say this NSFW and this SFW. These are questions for an individual arbitrator, so there is no need , I suspect, for posters here to get all worked up about "no swimwear!" arguments. However, bear in mind that the fact that teachers are responsible for children is a substantial, if not overriding, contextual factor that differentiates the position from say - bartender.

Let put this point another way - the question being asked is not "what was the context of the picture taking/depiction?". The question being asked is "does posting this picture demonstrate a lack of judgment in the circumstances?" and the circumstances of the picture is merely one part of the answer to that question.

  2. There is not a red line between professional and private life anymore when it comes to this. Stop believing there is and ffs don't act like it. I recall there was a case in QC not terribly long ago where it was discovered a teacher performed in amateur pornography. That is private life, and she was promptly let go because of it. I'm not trying to erect a strawman, as that's an egregious example, but I'm making the point that private life is not a shield. It's obviously dependent on my first point, but don't be under this false belief.

    Edit - fixed my links.

All inclusive vacation in Cancun, Mexico. One of those nice resorts where you just relax and drink. Bring a nice new bathing suit so you can enjoy the pool!

I would bring /u/buster_boo and /u/whowasmygrandpa because we need to get out.

Ditto! This is the one I use.

I'm a 32G and honestly haven't found much of a problem with max back lap suits. "max back" is kind of essential because the strappy lap suits don't hold anything, but mine seem to compress things down a lot and make watersports and lap swimming way more comfortable. Example Suit - Tyr Maxback, my fave

The last swimsuit I bought was this (http://www.amazon.com/TYR-Sport-Womens-Durafast-Diamondback/dp/B004WLKGKC) in a size 34 and it fit perfectly.

I use this one.
http://www.amazon.com/TYR-Womens-Strap-Reversable-2-Piece/dp/B0059ER42Y/ref=sr_1_24?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1422724300&sr=1-24&keywords=tyr

The bottoms are very tight, and have not stretched (I have owned it for 2 years). They do run on the smaller size, but I suppose that is by design.

You know, that might not actually be a bad idea. It seems less likely to create drag than my shirt, haha.

I should've linked to this other Speedo high neck. Someone else had the problem of too wide arm holes and mentioned drag there. Which i guess makes sense...it's not that I need a higher neck, but a wider chest...uh...piece?

I desperately need to get back in shape and swimming is one of the few things I can actually do with my dumb knee Liiink:)

they make workout bikini tops, basically sports bras that don't stretch out or disentegrate in chlorine which essentially binds everything up a bit (i don't currently need all that much). Thinking this or this one currently. I've always had an infatuation for competition suits as I've been on swim teams and life-guarded throughout my younger life before figuring out the trans stuff, and I love the sporty look to them.

And rashguard is basically a swim shirt generally popular with surfers so it's almost a socially acceptable way to wear a shirt in the water without having any obvious reason to feel self conscious. They come both tight and loose, though at some point in the future I'd much rather feel more comfortable in this ;-p

Bathing suit emergency! I've been looking for a bathing suit but everything feels off. I'm 5'10", hourglass body with a shorter torso and big cheated (34D). I've found that athletic bikinis like: http://www.amazon.com/TYR-Womens-Diamondback-Workout-Bikini/dp/B003GAMBPS
Are very flattering on me but are obviously for working out.
I've tried on: https://www.ae.com/aerie-cutout-one-piece-swimsuit-true-black/aerie/s-prod/0751_8967_073. But my breasts were too big for it.
Also I like this style: https://www.ae.com/women-aerie-scoop-bikini-top-cobalt-night/aerie/s-prod/0753_8972_494?cm=sUS-cUSD&catId=cat6890009. But the matching bottoms came up too high and shortened my torso.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Or if you got a new bathing suit to show off, I'd love to see it!!

I know you said no zippers, but you might want to try something like this. Water polo suits are designed for maximum keeping-in as players grab onto each other suits. You might search around for a different design without a zipper.

For about $1400, I can get a seven-day cruise for myself and my beloved to the Bahamas on Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. Since it is out of our home port, we won't have to pay to get to the ship, and since room and board are covered, the rest of my job is easy.

What I plan to do is mostly relax. Lie on the beach and listen to the waves. With $1100 remaining, we can afford some excellent local cuisine and night life. I'll likely shop for clothes and choose art to take home as well. And of course, enjoy a massage or three at the on-board spa.

Needless to say, one can't go to the beach without a swimsuit.

My darling and I will enjoy this vacation together.

Thanks, that was fun!
