Ditto on the sleep sacks. I also got this sleep gown as a gift, and it's working wonderfully now - for nighttime changings we don't have anything to undo/redo as we do when we swaddle her.

we randomly threw this onto our registry because it had spaceships on it, but it turns out that the fasteners are powered by the science of MAGNETS and it is absolutely amazing:

compared to snaps or buttons, it makes it so unbelievably easy to get the kid in and out of for diaper changes (oh dear lord... so many diaper changes). eventually, we went and bought several more outfits from the same brand at different sizes so we'll have more outfits as he gets bigger.
these clothes are in heavy rotation with our kid and our daycare has told us that if we send him in with these clothes every day, our caregiver will be our best friend.
speaking of diapers, one thing that i wish someone would have gotten us was a gift certificate to our local compostable diaper service. it's pretty cool, they supply the diapers and once a week, they'll haul the dirty diapers out to be composted. not sure if you have that available where you're at, but we really appreciate having it.

The make both onsies and two piece sets(without feet). Our favorite pjs by far.
And the two piece sets last for ages. My 4 year old still wears hers we got her at 18 months.
Zippers all the way! And I'll do you one better: zippers and no feets like these. The kids don't grow out of these ones nearly as quickly without the feets.

Once my son hit 6 months we couldn't find footie pj's to fit him because they were all those slim fit ones that were soooooo long and sooooo tight.
These fit like infant pj's but you can get them in larger sizes. He's been wearing them for months and they hold up great. They're not wonderful for walking in as the feet aren't super snug and they tend to slide around but they're great for sleeping.
Can you explain a little more? According to the amazon page the baby should be transitioned out once they learn to roll over.

The ones with no buttons are kind of hard, although I still find it easier than squishing a onesie over their heads. We also have some that button up the front and a short distance up the back. Makes getting dressed super easy and diaper changes are a little easier too.
