I use this. I've taken it domestic several times with my dingwall, pedals, and hardware with no issue. I am scared to take it international though.
I have a fender jaguar and this case works for me
Gator Cases Deluxe ABS Bass Guitar Case (Plastic) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GT88JA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4CjIyb3H9S44D
This might be a little long at 47 inches but it's supposed to still be stable from the reviews
i have a squier vintage modified jazz bass and use the gator lightweight hard case. the case is hard enough for my use case and fits the bass nicely. they also make a plastic hard case.
It's actually a guitar case that I haven't used in ages. It fits the rifle perfectly.
I bought mine from Musician's Friend years ago. I found one on Amazon:

Protec contego is a good bag that sits somewhere between a gig bag and a hard case. Cheaper than mono. But it's black https://www.amazon.com/Protec-CTG233-Bass-Guitar-Contego/dp/B001BAJNRO
Their #2 gig bag fits the Mini II. I got mine from an Amazon dealer, Chicago Music Exchange:
Cordoba 1/2 Size Standard Gig Bag (580mm scale) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KJMQWWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_hkHOCbMYEF83F
I use this gig bag for my mustang bass. Fits perfectly.

^ Is it this one?
Right! My limit is about $100-120. I've got a couple I've been looking at already, but I'm leaning more towards the soft case so I can backpack it and carry my amp with both hands.
Soft case

Hard case

Something that looks like this?

I have a Gator case for my Jagmaster. Fits perfectly, no room for it to move around, and it's wicked tough. Survived two long plane flights after being forced to gate-check it, no problem at all. Locks are sturdy, hinges are nice and solid. It is very heavy, more so even than the guitar, I think. Carrying it across two terminals at Dulles was an enormous workout. I would recommend it, for sure.
EDIT: Replaced the ProGuitarShop link (out of stock) with one from Amazon.
