I sleep in the recliner during the day but at night I use a wedge pillow (Splendoress Bed Wedge Pillow for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G5CFJPX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). Although I could have just propped up a few pillows to create the same effect. Good luck with your approval. Let me know if you have any more questions.
I'm also curious about this. I've been sleeping with this recently due to back pain, but can't tell if it helps my apt or not. I kind of feel like it makes my hip flexors shorter and stiffer.

No I get how scary it is. Especially the choking part. Prevacid also helped me a bit (though towards the end nothing was really working because of how severe my hiatal hernia was). Though if you try any meds you may find something different works best for you.
I was told to raise the head of my bed 4-6 inches. Or to buy a wedge pillow. Basically you want your torso to angle up with your head at the highest point. Not just your head and shoulders but your whole torso. Wedge pillow
Pillow! You are a genius. This changed my life
And now, like you, i seek for answers, so i consulted google and looked for wrist wrest but those are way to small. Then my 2 high braincells figured, i need a pillow for a table, so i googled table pillow which gave me some strange looking contraptions which can be used as a pillow on a table. Then i thought it should be a pillow but long like a wristwrest, like a noodle. So i typed "pillow noodle" and pressed enter
AND BOOM!

Have you tried sleeping with your legs raised? Try something like this: Leg Elevation Pillow - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KFPQTM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_d1iYDbRWC30T8
I had the same issue, ordered this

I have looked into this. While I do not currently own one, I would try this memory foam bolster setup first. It is my understanding it is manufactured by FXI, who produce this high-quality viscoelastic (memory) foam in the USA. I have had numerous mattress toppers from the same manufacturer (FXI, previously Foamex) and can attest to their quality/comfort, though I cannot attest to the design of this particular product as I have not tried it.
If money were no object, I would opt for one of these Ergoquest reclining desks and make sure it had an FXI-produced mattress on it.
Well I say couch, but your legs stay on the bed instead of touching the floor. Look at this pic: http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B004EWG30Q/ref=cm_cr_dp_cust_img_see_all_img0
Check out a thoracic wedge. I use it to correct thoracic tightness from computer posture. Lay on it and take 5-10 breathes then move it an inch. Dont use it below ribs or above the shoulders. Keep your lumbar spine flat (ie dont arch to allow your ass to touch the ground) and use your legs to vary the pressure.
Not sure it'll correct your issue, but it may offer some relief.
A peanut to MFR the muscles around the spine may also help get you some relief.
I have seen these in others before. After dislocating the legs typically need to stay in ABDUCTION. Essentially the opposite of crossing the legs. They make special pillows that some post reduction patients need to use.

You have to buy a real bolster pillows made specifically for the job. You can't cheap out and expect regular pillows to hold their form.
I have hip arthritis, I use this and it helps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KGLLD9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xKjRDbYFTM3MB I had another cheaper brand before and it didn't cut it.

I bought this one. So far, so good. I'm sleeping much better.
I see a geriatric chair beside it on the left, and that bedding on the right leads me to believe this estate belonged to a senior. So that’s likely a half-moon bolster pillow, which is a pretty common sight in the homes of older people / disabled / anyone with chronic pain.
Jiaao Upgraded Half Moon Bolster Pillow, Orthopedic Knee Pillow for Pain Relief, Memory Foam Leg Elevator for Side & Back Sleepers, Removable Velvet Cover with Invisible Zipper, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GP7973V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_T21wCbAY6GN7G
A huge pillow on an incline to help keep the acid down while you sleep.

In addition..
I tried a wedge pillow and hated it. I ended up settling on a "wellness wedge" plastic bed lift that you stick under the mattress to lift the actual head of the bed. Then I stack some pillows so I have one behind my upper back and 2 transitioning up to behind my head so I'm rather upright. It works really well for me. This is what I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008JH4L6K/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485122623&sr=8-1&keywords=bed+wedge+lift
My stomach-sleeper husband HATED this, but for back sleeping and even side sleeping it's a pretty comfortable option.

Pillows under the knees, elevate her as needed, or usually, I'll be at the end of the bed on my hands and knees, while he's standing on the side of the bed.
There are also things like

Well, just on my side. I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004X7CBEY/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
