I took 1 of these per day. The % Daily Value was 3,333%

Yes!

  1. 30x 1mg Fin: $13 @ Costco
  2. 1 Month Supply of Minoxidil: $6.80
  3. 7oz 1% Nizoral: $14.10
  4. 60 Day supply Biotin: $5.82

Comes out to just under $40

For finasteride, you can get it even cheaper by getting the 5mg tablet and splitting it into 4ths.

Also buy a 12 month supply of minoxidil and it's even cheaper in the long run.

For Niz, I have a prescription for the 2% and it's only $4 for a 1 month supply.

You also really don't need the Biotin gummies. Maybe just take a multivitamin to ensure you meet your daily intake in case that's a concern.

Prenatals are pretty great; but I also have a... unique food source.

TL;DR: You can get raw biotin for cheap, use it daily, and you need so little that it'll last you for three years.

Ah, so you don't have Trader Joe's. This is the one I have, it's 5000 mcg dosage. Obviously any brand will work.

I'm also very careful with my shampoo and conditioner when I'm growing my hair out; no sulfates. Sometimes I even do the baking soda scrub and vinegar rinse method.

This is what I use for Magnesium. It seems to be really gentle on my bowels. And since that one is so good, I tend to buy other vitamins and supplements from that brand, too.

I also take collagen and biotin to help with hair and skin. It could just be the water, but I've gotten a few compliments on my skin recently.

I also take just a regular multi-vitamin.

I used to have this same problem! I would peel them and then bite them. I know bad habit! I mom told me to try Biotin. It is a vitamin, i'm not sure if you've tried it or not. For the longest time I ignored her, how right could she be?

I was wrong and I'm glad to say it! I finally tried it and I seriously can't even bite my nails anymore. I tried all of those hardening/strengthening nail polishes too and they were just a hassle. I take biotin at night but you can take it at any time and that's it! My nails look amazing. They do start to peel when I forget for a few days but then I just start taking them again.

Hope this helps!

I use this one. Life Extension Biotin 600 mcg, 100 Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005XK9MUQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dO40CbQG2P15R basically keep the amount low. I've broken out with the high dose. I'm fine with the lower amount.

I'm taking this supplement called Vitalfan, by Rene Furterer because while fin worked in the hair department, it more or less nuked my libido. In fact, my prostate shrunk so much, I was going to the bathroom way more often than I used to. It's overpriced, and it might be snake oil, but I'm using it to wean myself off the fin. I was taking 1mg of finasteride a day for a year, I cut my dose in half, and it worked for a couple weeks, and then the sides came back.

My armchair theory was that my diffuse thinning was mostly aggravated by consistent, undue stress in my life (thanks to a pesky little fucker called GAD) right before one big event... that I won't get into here. Point being, it's clear that 1mg of fin, while effective, was total overkill in its blockage of DHT, so a weaker one might be the answer for me.

Only one way to find out. And I've never used Minoxidil, so maybe that's my last resort.

I would not start an iron supplement ontop of a multivitamin unless you have a diagnosed deficiency, because you can overdo it on iron, and the side effects are unpleasant(severe constipation to start with). If you want some extra oomph in your vitamin, my doctor recommended I start taking prenatals and biotin, since my hair had started to thin. It has had the additional benefit of making my nails grow way faster and stronger than anything else I've tried.

Since you already have a multivitamin you might consider adding a standalone biotin(I take this one) to your routine. Though I will note, it makes all your hair grow faster and thicker, so it could make your facial hair darker while you are taking it.

I agree, having the angle is best. but having this and this side by side ould be "all time. Would it not?

Something I want

Something I need

---
The "want" is a bottle of biotin supplements. For a while I've been reading about how biotin can help grow strong nails, shiny hair and is also good for depression/anxiety. It's something I definitely wanna try out, but it still seems like kind of a luxury/vanity thing and not something I absolutely can't live without.

The "need" is a pair of cute socks. I suppose the "cute" part isn't really neccesary lol but I actually do need some short socks for warm weather. I've moved back to my parents' house recently and all the socks that were in my old bedroom are the knee-high/fluffly/Christmas type socks and I'm getting tired of having to wash and rotate between the 2 pairs of acceptable socks I have all the time.
