I hope it works out well. I’m 6’2” 220 and she’s 5’3” 120 so I think we have the right proportions for it.

I found the masks here: https://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/horror-contemporary-item-list-u-z-c-16_226/umbrella-academy-cha-cha-latex-mask-p-26271

Edit: here’s the briefcase
Heritage Travelware Vinyl Catalog Case, 18.5", Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IAA3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6KHCCbYGBR9VD

I’ve already got the wrist brace and a briefcase and it won’t be hard to find a 3 piece navy suit for me.

I just need to find her a 3 piece navy pant suit we can modify with bronze clasps instead of buttons. That’s going to be the trickier part...

$31.86.
If they were to theoretically not give you the case and instead give you regular packaging which is still not free, it would then cost $938. Maybe with a $900+ item you want to have a little bit more secure packaging than cardboard as well.
Really the "designing" of the packaging probably cost far more than all of the packaging costs combined for an item with such a low volume as this.
Oh and that's the price for that case to us lowly peasants, I'm sure by ordering in bulk they would be able to secure a deal for the cases at a far lower price.

Personally, I stick with a simple tote bag that isn't flashy, but fits a lot of stuff. It should be structured or at least very minimalist; no sagging (see here) or rivets/gems/patterns/etc - not that they can't be chic, but for this setting I don't think they are appropriate. Maybe that's a personal choice, but theres my 2 cents.

Since most people in my profession bring both tablets to show portfolios and paper resumes to interviews, I want enough space for both in my bag, as well as pens, a notepad, lipstick, wallet, and other minutae. I don't think its out of place to have a small tassel or buckle on the bag, though - gotta add some style, ya know?

Here are some that I thought were appropriate and fit within your price range: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

I personally tend to go towards backpack (my 15 inch lenovo isn't going to lose weight any time soon), so I like backpacks like this. However, for messenger bags, I know you could go to etsy and get some great colorful options or something more traditional, and there's always the executive look

u/CrystalElyse · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Probably not your style, but I got this bag a year ago for school and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It fits my 15" macbook (barely) and has so many pockets and organizers. It can be a messenger bag, or a backpack on the days that I have way too much shit in there.

We use this

Simple. Cheap. Lockable.

Summarizing what I've seen here so far:

What /u/scottish_beekeeper said. Then what /u/SometimesIArt said.

And perhaps glue a thin, rigid material on the inside to add support and more prevention.

-OR-

Wrinkle the whole darn thing (or the other corner) and call it rustic or distressed like this :)

Edit:
Unless you can get another scratch and dent deal and start swapping parts and sew it back as best as possible, you may have to match the color with a similar leather and sew it back on yourself.

Plaid shirts. A leather briefcase bag thing (this one) and alcohol.

And lots of socks and other stuff.

u/radiosmithy · 3 pointsr/frugalmalefashion

I bought this off of Amazon for $95: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009DBHWQM/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just received it this week. The bag is AWESOME. Normally goes for $400 but for some reason Amazon occasionally releases it for $95. If you're down to wait, setup a price alert using a service like"camelcamelcamel".

u/NYPorkDept · 2 pointsr/frugalmalefashion

Still waiting for this to have a crazy sale. Looks more masculine than the Helmsman.

u/nightfly13 · 2 pointsr/BuyItForLife

I got this Eagle Creek Convertabrief for around $120 in gray. Love it, although it is pretty utilitarian-looking. Pretty easy to swap between messenger bag, briefcase, and backpack. I've used all 3 with success.

I have had two messenger bags over the last few years

1: http://www.amazon.com/David-King-Leather-Messenger-Distressed/dp/B002XT3XZK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463868646&sr=8-1&keywords=david+leather+messenger+bag this was a great bag! I loved the distressed leather look at it had lots of neat little organizational pockets that could fit things like notebooks and sunglasses as well as a laptop sleeve (not sure if this is important to you but I dont have a laptop case so wanted to have a protective sleeve).

2: I bought a few months ago was a Kattee which makes a variety of them (http://www.amazon.com/Kattee-Leather-Durable-Briefcase-Laptop/dp/B00GZCC1BS?ie=UTF8&keywords=kattee%20messenger%20bag&qid=1463868774&ref_=sr_1_11&sr=8-11) the one I got was a bit bulkier but it had multiple compartments perfect for books and stuff in one and a laptop and charging cord in the other. It also had lots of small pockets (I really like lots of pockets) and has a great feel to it. I would totally purchases either of these again

I bought this "Catalog Case" on Amazon. Its cheap so I can replace it with a new one every 5 years if necessary. We are converting to EFB Jepps next year which means I'll have room in there for duty free. And no more paper amendments either...awesome.

If you are shopping for a roller bag get one that you can replace the wheels on easily, rollerblade wheels work well for a nice friction-free silent ride thru the terminal.

Just thought I would throw in my own findings in case anyone else stumbles across this thread like I did.

I ended up getting this case in two sizes:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CT13K9J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The 14-15.4" size is a very snug fit, but does fit inside. The 15.6" size has a lot more room inside, but that also means it might move around inside. I'm debating whether the 15.4" one will break in a bit with time or to just use the 15.6" one.

Also got one of these shuttles for longer distance travel:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004AB35NY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Again, not a super tight fit, but good enough for me and big enough to fit more stuff when travelling.

Hello Balkan neighbor! KVISSLE is a good choice but lemme give ya advice on it. Ofc handle is a must and ya can find it easy. As for the front go to a hardware store get a plank and a hinge or two and the front is secure albeit those magnets are strong. Switch the panels onto the metal side and if ya have magnets in the bottom of the base they will stick like it was glued on. Also remove the panels and fill the inside with soft materials like foam or styrofoam to keep them extra safe and those thin points not break. Plus when ya play ya can do a badass reveal. But if ya do not want to lug that in a bus (i feel ya man...) i found some on amazon for that budget. Its this (29 euro), this (27 euro but a bit smaller) or this (37 euro). Now i dunno if they come with foam but that you can find easy for cheap or use the inside of egg cartons (they are really cheap and protect minis very well, they saved my 150+euro worth of minis with not a single one even having a small crack). All these cases can be lugged as a backpack or over the shoulder

There are only wrong answers for your question. Although if you do through, it'd have to be a halliburton or the knockoff equivalent.

u/suckitphil · 1 pointr/rpg

I've been using a catalog case that I found in my parents garage. Pretty similar to this one. I can hold about 3 books, GM screen, pound of dice, deck of cards, couple miniatures, binder, notebook, and a dice case. It's pretty lightweight and looks awesome.

u/contikipaul · 1 pointr/JonBenetRamsey

Ok, I think ignoring the handwriting is a good idea as absolutely no expert has ever said it was Patsy anyways.

The content is the ramblings of a madman. It's toss. It is a bunch of useless words strung together. It has the literary and investigative value of talking to a drunk who lives under a bridge and has a strange handle on reality.

There is nothing within the note that points to Patsy, John or Burke as the author. The number $118,000 is about as relevant as the term attaché. People love to speculate that Patsy was a Francophile who was quoting John's bonus. The word attaché is used by people in the UK all the time for briefcase. It is a French word but it is a cross over word.

Does this prove the killer was British. In fact ( I get this is over the top) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Leather-Executive-Attache-Briefcase-Business/dp/B074VBGJ4C/ref=sr_1_104?s=luggage&ie=UTF8&qid=1519070300&sr=1-104
You can even buy an attaché case in UK pounds.

What I am trying to say is the content and handwriting have been looked at. So far,out of all the only investigators that have looked at the note, only Koby and the Gang have become convinced of Patsy's involvement.

The lady didn't speak French, the husband handed previous letters with proof of handwriting to the BPD on day one, nobody and I do mean nobody, has ever found another letter, document or paper where Patsy wrote or used the word attaché. Yet all the arm chair detectives seem to think it is conclusive proof.

You want conclusive proof. The FBI figured out which pen, which exact pen wrote the letter. Find a fingerprint on the pen or on the letter. Find a tear stain on the letter with mom's DNA.

In conclusion......it is my personal point of view that there is absolutely no evidence these people wrote the letter nor had the criminal mastermind skills to figure out how to wipe off fingerprints from paper on the fly.

Looking for suggestions for a messenger style bag that can hold my laptop (Surface Book) as well as pack in my lunch for my work shift. Seeing if anyone know any messenger style bags that are made for this reason, or as close to it as possible. Thanks! Have been checking out bags similiar to the 5.11 Adult Side Briefcase.

https://www.amazon.com/5-11-Tactical-56003-Adults-Side-Briefcase/dp/B004V55PSW

Amazon similar bags:
Koolertron Pro- Multifunction Military Tactical Outdoor Shoulder Messenger Bag https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YA1WKN0?th=1

Or GES Multifunction Messnger Briefcase
https://www.amazon.com/GES-Multifunction-Messenger-Briefcase-ArmyGreen/dp/B01M5DXF0H/ref=pd_sbs_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01M5DXF0H&pd_rd_r=89MVYFYZ5S174SV7FV3C&pd_rd_w=1PJLg&pd_rd_wg=j3GMt&psc=1&refRID=89MVYFYZ5S174SV7FV3C

Again, looking for something that can not only hold and keep my laptop safe, but also pack in my lunch and keep that cold/leak proof preferably. I like the form of the messenger bag because of the ease in transporting it, ie carrying it over the shoulder.

I don't own anything like this currently, but I love the idea.
Would something like this work?

https://www.amazon.com/M-world-Pairs-Glasses-Leather-Monotone/dp/B01M5DQX6W/

It looks like there's enough room for a contact case inside and maybe even a small bottle of solution on the other side, with your smaller pair of glasses.

u/Older_But_Wiser · 1 pointr/sexover30

Amazing. We've used a similar old briefcase for years. No idea the concept was so popular.

Seems like many many years ago the use of hard sided briefcases became less popular and stylish and my old one had been sitting in the closet for some time. As we started using toys and videos in the bedroom we started using that to lock away from the kids.

OP should consider this, or a [locking file box](https://www.amazon.com/Stalwart-Locking-Steel-Security-Filing/dp/B01KMAN8880, or a catalog case

>If Palmer speaks the truth and they sell the Rift at cost

Palmer has said that Rift is subsidised, and they make no money off it. That can mean cost price or selling at a loss.

The problem here is that there are many ways of defining these terms. What is cost? Which overheads do you add and which do you exclude? Just the variable costs, or which fixed costs?

>And you are just making the numbers up, you have no idea about the costs of the case.

I know that Palmer has called it insignificant, and I know that the cost price of a good non-leather briefcase is on the order of $10-$15 (the rest is pure branding).

I think I can say with certainty that it doesn't cost $100. That's fantasy land.

Look. Here's a nicer case for $25 retail price. On Alibaba you can get them for $5-$10, again, retail price.

I use this: Samsonite Classic 15.6 -InchShuttle (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AB35NY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_oaYyzbNT3FQ94
More like a traditional laptop bag but small and slim. Fits quite a bit also.

u/GreenPulsefire · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I'm considering buying a new bag and maybe someone can help me.

I like this weekender bag by Navali but I want to use it as an everyday bag for university, my side job and free time. Is this too large? Will it look out of place? Has anyone made experiences using a weekender-style bag as everyday bag? Does it work out nicely?

I just like the look of the bag with the small extra pouches.

The alternative would be this.

u/Yalpski · 1 pointr/applehelp

Sorry, yes the 15" Retina. For most trips I carry it in this (without the shoulder strap). I am not a big guy, so if I can carry it all day in that and not get tired of it, then I feel pretty confident just about anyone can. When it is not in that, it is in a standard backpack so the weight is even less noticeable. I see your other comment that you do not plan to travel with it much, so I suppose this is all a relatively moot point, but the times you do choose to travel with it, I can pretty safely say it is not a hassle at all.

u/hara78 · 1 pointr/frugalmalefashion

Use camelcamelcamel to price track this on Amazon.

I bought this a few months ago for $95, but it usually sells our quickly. Nice bag, really like carrying it around.

Samsonite Leather Expandable Briefcase (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004CK5QQM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Sx.Bzb1CCMCDM

Pricey but completely worth it. 1 year of student teaching and 4 years of big boy jobs, still looks brand new. Laptop sleeve, lots of file slots, tons of room for pens etc, pockets galore.
