Do you have picture of the dress in question?

Where was the dress bought? If it was at David's Bridal or something similar, it is often possible to order extra fabric and alter the back.

If the back is not ass-crack cleavage low, you could use a bustier and leave the top part of the bustier unhooked as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/pHO0T6rSGLc?t=40

The Goddess 689 in the video is discontinued, you will struggle to find it plus it does not go up to UK 36G, but you can use the Goddess Adelaide or Elomi Maria and or the Elila long lines as alternatives.

Sorry for the delay, had to dig around and see what I had. Try something like this in a 4X. That should bring you down to about a 34" waist. More if you're brave. I can get down to near 32" in mine. When you go to buy an actual quality corset, check out Orchard Corsets. They're on the pricey side, but so worth it.

Clothes can be tricky. I'm just shy of 6'5" so between that and my love of food and beer, off the rack is a challenge. I make about 95% of my own clothes. I'm not sure of your aesthetic, but there is stuff out there. Buying separates helps. If you give me an idea of your style, I'll see if I can't point you in the right direction.

Hope that helps at least a bit with the corset!

I use the one "with armholes", it's super cheap too which is awesome.

If you get a binder just slightly on the loose side, it can mitigate those problems quite a lot. I wear these things pretty frequently: https://www.amazon.com/Womens-Lesbian-Tomboy-Short-Binder/dp/B01ELC6KGK/ref=pd_sim_193_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01ELC6KGK&pd_rd_r=G7MYKJMBCPDKD7HGAX4P&pd_rd_w=XabrH&pd_rd_wg=pmf3d&psc=1&refRID=G7MYKJMBCPDKD7HGAX4P

They have several different sets of adjustable hooks, so the tightness varies a ton and it's easy to find one that isn't dangerous or awful to wear. They run a couple of sizes small, I'm normally an "s" in shirts but I wear a "L" in these. My only complaint is I can never find any in white, so I can't wear them under most of my shirts, but on a hot day they wear fine alone.

Edit: Huh, I just now found some in white. Time to buy more!

So here is an amazon post of the bra for reference. I can't find much that specifies waist measurements. https://www.amazon.com/Elomi-Womens-Maria-Underwire-Basque/dp/B071KW211D When I hold it up, it does not look like it is dramatically cinched at the waist but the image on amazon does seem like it a bit. It may be able to be taken in a bit if you are looking for a more narrow waist?

Look for a low-back bustier. I like this one - probably low enough in back, but might show on the sides. I've also had good luck with the boob tape trick, but IMO you have more options than that here, haha.

. Under $5 , from my $10 & under list

. You have some cat related stuff on your list so I think this shirt would be pretty rad, on my clothes list

. Pictures never really make me laugh unless there's some funny caption so I'm breaking this rule and linking my favorite gif ever

I'm not sure if it would work but I wore a Lunaire brand bra with my strapless wedding gown. It could be used with an extension that wraps around to make it low. I found the bra itself really quote comfortable but dodnt wear the adjustment piece. Also I have a long bra that I got at David bridal that dips in the back. I think it's a 38ddd though really I wear like 34i now maybe slightly smaller then. It's not ideal but I have found that if I wear it pulled down closer to my hips it doesn't give me comic book boobs but does support fairly well at least for am occasion. I just wore to a wedding and was surprised how well it worked. Also o had tried ordering this long bra but it came to late...its nice though, can be strapless and seems like a lower back.

I absolutely love ren faires. My favourite thing about them is dressing up. The elf ears, corsets, veils, dresses, chainmail, leather armour, the neat little bags and weapons of all kinds. Everyone is so friendly and unique and I just really feel like I could get along with everyone there. And the role playing! I love seeing people act and speak as if they lived in medieval times. I went to one time too that had this awesome tea thing. Omg, the tea was so good! It was one of the funnest experiences of my life and I wish we had more here.

I think this is the most Ren Faire thing I could put on my list for myself.

I just made a post about this a few weeks ago! I wear steel-boned corsets pretty often, and I started noticing that they make me feel 100x better. I prefer a “waspie” corset, they’re on the shorter side and compress your ribs less which makes it easier to breathe imo. And the look is more dramatic ;) I like Orchard Corset’s CS-201 a lot!
