My go to for gift giving advice: "If the person has had a stable job for longer than a year or so they don't really want anything you can just pick up at a store and buy. They can do that themselves, but every person with a job is in need of the same thing, time. If you can spend the time to make something cool with arts and crafts, they will love it for forever. Social media is an immense fountain of inspiration for these kinds of things and you can almost always find guides to make things by yourself, and relatively cheap."

Food for DnD should be be of the snacks, tapas, hors d'oeuvres, appetizers variety, i.e. bitesize (unless you plan on taking a break to eat). You'll want to avoid things that can spill or drip onto papers. Chips are always greasy and will ruin character sheets/smear screens. I wouldn't expect DnD players to clean their fingers constantly at the table, so if you want to use sauce, keep it to a minimum and use toothpicks (these little swords will be well received at any table). I also suggest avoiding bone-in and other things that will leave "evidence" behind. Cut off the tails of shrimp, and if you burn the side of something cut off the burnt part. And don't forget to consider allergy and dietary concerns.

Like others have said, too much glass not enough martini. I think your problem is you're making a traditional sized martini, but using a modern glass. Double your amount of vodka and vermouth, but leave the rest the same and it'll look much better. Edit: Whoops I spaced on the amount of liquor that goes into a martini, a 3-4 oz. martini is normal, this is a big glass isn't it.

And I sorta agree with /u/veggietrooper about the glass style, but for different reasons. To me a coupe says gin martini, while a straight-sided cocktail glass says vodka martini.

I'm also not a fan of the single use cocktail picks, both due to sustainability and aesthetic concerns, you could improve the look with some reusable ones like these (Or if you don't take yourself too seriously these).

Okay, I'll bite. These are all items I currently carry in my EDC organizer that are under $10.

Uncle Bill's tweezers (definitely not in the everyday use category, but superb for that "damn I need this" category. e.g. wife with metal filing splinter)

16 oz Nalgene (just started carrying mine and glad I did. e.g. I need to drink more water)

Mirror (sure you can use your phone, but I've found it handy a few times. e.g. at work place before meetings; to pick that food out your teeth after lunch)

Toothpicks (to pick said food from teeth before meeting)

WD-40 pen (cuz... WD-40. e.g. squeaks and stuff)

• Hand Sanitizer pen (because germs. e.g. after a BBQ Brisket Quesadilla for lunch)

Gorilla Glue super glue (again, used a few times, but in a "save the day" type of situation.)

• Plastic or Metal Collar Stays (I always seem to forget collar stays, so I pack them in my EDC organizer)

$10 (in cash) (I've forgotten my wallet once before—but had my EDC organizer in my laptop bag—still got to eat lunch that day)

Yes I realize 4 of my items specifically mention "lunch".

What is the difference between "blond" and "blonde"? I never know which one to use and when to use it.

Link We are planning a 4th of July BBQ to show off our new house and a pack of these would be awesome!

Are you set on the set from Top Shelf? They're not quite the same but I have these and I like them.

Not exactly the same design, but here's an out-of-stock example on Amazon.

I see them at the grocery store all the time and they're a couple of bucks ($5-$10 US?) for a pack of 20 or 30. This caught my attention because I have a bag of them and I need a butcher's block. Apparently I need to order a bulk pack off of Amazon or something though.

I don't know why this isn't categorized under Mice Accessories. Must be an error.

Two Three questions:

1) How important is the "ninja" to you?

Standard straight-bladed cocktail sword picks are much easier to source.

1.5) Visually, what makes something a "ninja sword" to you? Shape of the blade? Type of guard/hilt? Etc.

2) How many do you want?

If you want curved blades, or anything else that differs from the generic straight sword picks, I suspect you'll have to go to a wholesaler like NSB in Chantilly, who probably sells them in 500 or 1000-unit lots.

Toothpicks, the decorated or fun little plastic sword kind, you can even find reusable metal and sturdy plastic.

Sandwich Frill Picks 1000ct https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0016KVRVY/

Tomato for sandwiches are best with the”tomato water” and seeds removed, and as a previous poster said, pat them dry.

Toasting bread also gives it texture and stiffness, and it will help some in gtipping the ingredients that are adjacent.

If you can find cocktail picks that have a large handle, like this https://www.amazon.com/Prodyne-Miniature-Sword-Martini-Metallic/dp/B000E7ZTZU, then you can simple allow them to hang inside of the ice ball through the top fill holes.
