(Part 2) Best crib bedding according to redditors

honestly, it's not overtly Harry Potter! there's no red/yellow gryffindor memorabilia. the mobile was kinda the main event. i got some wall decals from this etsy shop (which of course is on vacation right now so you can't see the products). i got his name in the HP font, a wand, and a flying owl.

I made it with the help of a friend of mine. There’s tutorials all over the place for ruffled bed skirts. I got the idea for coloring and style originally from cadenlane.com but it was $128 and they don’t have the pink anymore. I wanted one with those colors and where the bottom ruffles were velcroed on so I could use it when the crib gets lowered. I haven’t seen one elsewhere that has the Velcro layers like mine.

If that doesn't seem to work with the existing pack n play because either our cat is too large or it doesn't seem safe to use with the baby inside overnight, the backup plan is the "Pack 'N Play Jetsetter" which has a zippable canopy. I figure a second playyard isn't ideal, but we could certainly use it for outside or at the park without getting the usual one so dirty? I'm hoping we can get away with the mosquito netting.

You should be able to find the same style by searching "pop up mosquito net" if it's not in your area 🙂, I think I got my first one on ebay and my second on Amazon (my dog chewed my first one when I was out one day lol). They have them in different sizes so you can pick what works best for your space, I've got a double size. Definitely recommend putting a sheet or something on the bottom when you're in it to catch any mess as it makes cleaning up afterwards much easier!

I have one by a small company called I'm a little teapot. I got it on Amazon. The only "padding" is a small amount of wool for natural fire protection and they use the best and safest waterproofing. It doesn't make noise and is good for allergens.

It's totally safe and has the benefit of being natural with no offgassing. It isn't fluffy or thick and doesn't add any volume IMHO. I was worried about that too.

Here's a bed with under the bed storage build in! This one is more of a "toddler bed." It's not a very creative bed but nice and you can snazz it up with sheets! Or if you find another bed with space underneath these have always worked well for me.
