Good job, if other people want their own you can buy them online

https://www.amazon.com/ThinkGeek-Portal-Bookends-Blue-Orange/dp/B007JKXED4

It's a bit cheaper on Think Geek but they are currently out of stock.

I would look into removable wallpaper if you could find some for an affordable price, even to do an accent wall in a nice burgundy/gold color like the walls in the movies are.

The main thing that would make it though would be some sort of wall hangings bearing Gryffindor colors or symbols like a lion. You could get crafty, or there are several options available like this one that costs $25. I would probably replace the throw pillows with some that are scarlet and gold, and you could go to Half Price Books, which usually sells old decorative books by the foot for a low price, and line them up along the entertainment center with a couple of nice bookends (like these lion ones) Maybe a dark red blanket tossed over the couch and long flowy curtains (I'd picture some thick velvet-looking ones) would also up the coziness feel.

Edit: Here is a pattern of removable wallpaper that I think evokes the feeling of the Gryffindor common room, even though it's not the right color. It's not the most affordable thing in the world though. One 8' by 10' accent wall with a 3' by 3' opening would take 4 rolls, which would come out to about $150. Here's the link if you want to check it out though.

Edit 2: sorry to keep adding, but I'm having fun looking for stuff! haha, I found where you can purchase a wall decal of the Fat Lady Painting!
Edit 3: Okay, so this Gryffindor Quidditch poster costs less than $3! And the Wizarding World of Harry potter sells This Gryffindor pillow online.

I found them on Amazon.

Just checked Goodreads, there are 3 titles called Bookends. 1 by a Jane Green, another by a Rin Sparrow. Neither are graphic novels so there is also a graphic novel coming out soon titled bookends by Melissa Hamilton. I was referring to actual bookends because those Akira books are getting bent. Dont worry though, I got a link for you fam: Benzara Royal Polystone Chess Bookend Polyresin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N7DIZ6S/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_462mybA2JZMYW

This is super cute. It looks like a shitty cutter though. Does anyone else have some cool bicycling decorations/doodads they like? I always liked these, but they are super expensive, and I can't justify the cost.

Do you like to read? If so, you NEED these darling bookends. My daughter also love owls and we've been redecorating her room with an owl theme, and the bookends look amazing in it.

Edit: Don't call it Frisco. :)

Wow. I envy your movie collection. Rome is a personal favorite.
I like agate bookends.

If I were you, I would grab some baskets/bins to contain some of your collection. It'll break up the space. Taking some of the photos and trophies and place them on top of the horizontal stacks will help make the bookshelves look less like an organizational necessity and more like a showcase of what you like.

Could you place your TV and it's stand between the shelves. That could really anchor that wall.

Decorate already! This lamp is pretty cool! And this could be a fun way to add a chalkboard and more dragons to your office :) And both of these bookend sets are pretty cool!

And I don't know if non-Amazon things are off limits, but I really liked this paperclip holder.

I am using these. I had to double them up for the bigger sections. The weight of a 100 records is too much. But doubled up they work really well. For the smaller sections 1 seems to be fine. I try to get them leaning towards the steel pipe and that seems to work well.

I don't know about any silverware but maybe some Egyptian-style bookends like these cat ones or these pharoah ones or these ones with Horus on them.

how weird! usually they have the one side that is longer, i had no idea they had the odd double length on one side! my mistake! LOL i only know this as i put my cook books on neat shelves by the kitchen recently and apparently put the ends on wrong, went to bed, was asleep and at about 2am the sound of all the heavy books crashing down onto the floor made me nearly pee the bed in fright...

edit: all the ones i have are like these, not really the design but the base design with only one extending side bookend type
