Try something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0786P1YD7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qOGuDbSM9Y4N6

Get one for you and one for your wife. They hold up well enough for beginners and hold a decent number of discs.

DD Trooper Bag @ $40 is probably the easiest entry level backpack style bag to get into

Then DD Sniper Backpack is up from there with more storage, and a streamlined boxy look at about $80

Upper Park Designs Shift @ $130-$140 is popular, but often sold out.

MVP Voyager Slim can has a huge price range depending on color from $115 to $175, which seems odd

After that you're into 200$ and up for bags, or real cheap no-name chicom stuff from amazon. Some of it may be good, but still at the same price point as the Innova and DD I just went with a name I associate with Disc Golf already.

I personally chose the Innova for cost to storage ratio at 80 bucks seemed like a good bet. It's been good so far, but only time will tell.

I've been using a Zuca EZ cart for the past month with this bag, and it seems to be working pretty well. I have the handle of the cart going through the handle of the bag, but I also wrap the shoulder straps around the support bars of the cart. It's fairly light weight, handled well in the snow, ice, mud, grass, and through the woods. I'm happy with it so far, but I would have preferred the regular Zuca cart with the seat.

I absolutely love my dynamic discs soldier bag. I carry 15-20 discs in it. The nice thing is it comes with a shoulder strap but if you end up wanting a backpack style strap they have one available to purchase.

I'm saving this to see what kind of response you get.

I got a DD Solider Cooler bag this season since all of my rounds are casual at this point and I enjoy a cold beverage on the course. It's perfect for that but I'm maxed out at 12 discs.

I've gotten much more into disc over the past few months and will be adding to my bag and probably upgrading soon.

From my research, I'd add three bags to the mix for you:

DD Ranger

The location and size of the storage for the DD Ranger bag is what I love. It also looks the best shape wise IMHO. A lot of people really love Grip though.

Good luck in the search!

I've been considering getting the Fitactic bag! I've heard it's pretty much identical to a GRIP bag but for a lot cheaper - $69 for the pink one and $99 for the black and also the camp. I've heard great reviews of it but can't personally tesitfy

I got one of these Athletico bags for my son, and liked it so much I bought another one for myself. It has a magnet in the flap to keep it open, holds my 32oz Nalgene bottle, has a few storage pockets, and one pocket even has fleece lining to clean my sunglasses a little. It also has the strap at an angle, which I rather like.

I don't have links to pictures but there are a few videos I found when I was checking it out myself (I don't own it, went with something else).

Check the stickied post for deals, but you should have a budget in mind, maybe the amount of discs you want to carry, and any other features you need (sling/shoulder straps vs backpack style, room for a hoodie, water bottles, etc.)

I had a DD Soldier with the sling straps and cooler insert and really liked it for casual rounds. Could fit 12-18 discs plus two putters. The cooler fit a six pack of tallboys and some ice packs if that’s your thing. I still take it out for casual daydrinking rounds sometimes!

Eventually upgraded to a Grip AX3 as I wanted something with more storage and disk space for tournaments and absolutely love it. I was able to get it on sale last New Year’s for $169 and at that price I think it’s the best bag on the market. Fits a ton of disks, has a lot of room in the side pockets for layers, and the construction is great. Probably overkill if you’re not playing tournaments or anything though.

I have heard good things about Upper Park bags if you’re looking to spend more than $75 but less than $150.

agreed. I feel like my grip will last 10 years easily. I also have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Kestrel-Beginner-Advanced-Players-Extremely/dp/B01NC2A2RN for when I'm feeling lazy and only want to take a couple discs for a casual round.

I recommend the Fitactic DG Bag. You can find them on Amazon

You can fit all of that stuff. Specific to the link below to outline what you're looking for- mine holds 25 discs, could probably hold a few more.

I roll up a rain jacket and put it in the side pocket; however, if you're only holding 12-14 discs you can easily fold your jacket and put it in the main pocket. The upper pockets on the bag can hold about 6-8 discs, depending on if they're drivers, mids or putters.

The two side pockets for me (no jacket) usually hold: mini umbrella, gum, ibuprofen, coozies, a couple trash bags to p/u the course, sunglasses and the whole other one holds my 2 towels AND has a dedicated, padded cell-phone pocket.

Lastly the 2 cupholders are very spacious. I usually carry a big 32oz Nalgene and a 32oz Gatorade bottle. These cupholders have tightener straps which is very clutch

They're highly durable, I love my bag. Would recommend friend!

I have an odin disc golf bag --> https://www.amazon.com/Odin-Disc-Golf-Bag-Accessory/dp/B0199E5WRS

It's definitely on the larger side, but I was really focused on getting a two strap bag to stop doing damage to my back with a one strap bag. I collected so many discs over the years that carrying them all with one strap was really starting to hurt. Plus having the space there for so many discs is a godsend. I don't have to pick and choose what I bring anymore if I don't want to.

The weight distribution is so much better than anything I carried previously, and there's just so much space for me to bring anything I'll need on the course. The only complaint I have is that the netted portion of the bottle holder on the side has ripped a little, but I think that's because my water bottle has rubber on the outside that stressed the material too much.

Worth a look.

This is the perfect bag, IMO, if you want 10-14 capacity (with some extra storage pockets): https://www.amazon.com/MVP-Beaker-Competition-Disc-Golf/dp/B0124XX192/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1504721376&sr=8-2&keywords=mvp+disc+golf+bag

I've been using it for almost 2 years and it's still going strong. The shoulder strap is extra padded and is very comfortable.

I'm looking to sell this bag and backpack-strap that I used for a month before getting the Upper Park Shift (which I really love). Other than some minor dirt, the bag/strap is in great condition. I'd take $65 shipped, if you're interested in both. PM me if you have any questions.
