Amazon. Actually found one for dirt cheap that is three ply and shielded. It’s not Fender brand, but I compared it with the original and it is pretty similar.

Would this or this do the trick?
If I’m not mistaken, I think any regular Jazzmaster pickguard will work just fine. Here’s one on Amazon. A couple reviews say that it fit a Squier JM just fine.
Pickup combinations are endless my man. You can swap your bridge pickup with any other passive pickup, and nearly ANY aftermarket pickup will be an upgrade over stock Squier pickups. No need to buy top of the line to improve your sound. Any humbucker will give you a thicker, darker, more “metal” sound you’re looking for.
Here’s a cheap easy replacement: https://www.amazon.com/ammoon-Prewired-Humbucker-Pickguard-Electric/dp/B01M2Z5AOE/ref=mp_s_a_1_39?keywords=stratocaster+hss+pickguard&qid=1572787937&sr=8-39
Just buy this http://www.amazon.com/Loaded-Prewired-Pickguard-Replacement-Guitar/dp/B009GSKW1Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394178541&sr=8-1&keywords=pre+loaded+pick+guard and get a fresh start.
Note that this one looks like it has one wire per pickup also, but note that its actually two wires bundled in one plastic insulator, the ground pokes out at the other end. This might also be the case with your guitar.

I'm adding a humbucker to the bridge position so I need a new pickguard. Just curious what kind you guys would throw on this? I prefer pearloid or tortoise shell ones rather than plain black or white. I'm probably going to pick one of these, but let me know if you know of anything that's better or cooler. https://www.amazon.ca/Musiclily-Electric-Pickguard-Stratocaster-Celluloid/dp/B011QFGG14/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1522541853&sr=1-2&keywords=HSS%2BStratocaster%2BPickguard&th=1
Yes, my guitar is a squier standard strat
Here's the pickguard for reference: https://www.amazon.com/Pickguard-Handed-Strat-Fender-Stratocaster/dp/B07CNHMW2Q
I posted because this product says I may need to mod
This is what I'm looking at currently but I'll definitely check them out.
> So I got a Squier strat, cheap Chinese one, and I want to upgrade the pickups.
For cheaper guitars I have found amazing luck with cheap, no-name loaded Strat pick guards from Amazon. I picked this one up on a gamble (they make other configs and colors) and it's become one of my primary guitars ever since.
Thanks! I love it, she's my daily player now.
I got it on Amazon for $12
Dopro American Vintage Jazzmaster... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0797H5H7K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I recently got a pick guard from this amazon seller for my HH strat. Tons of colors to choose from and they're all about $10 each. It's from Asia, though, so shipping took a few weeks. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076K2CNWY/ref=twister_B0783955M7?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
Amazon. Surprisingly hard to find one for HSS configuration with 3 screw adjustment for humbucker. Major online retailers did not have any. Only found OEM on Fender for $40, the rest were on Amazon, eBay, Reverb. Got this one for $11, looks to be the same quality as OEM. Link
If your pickup config is different there are a lot more options out there.
You can get Behringer pedals for 25 bucks — less money than it’d cost you to source the parts yourself. Mooer, Caline, and Donner pedals are priced similarly.
You can get a generic loaded, prewired Strat pickguard for 17 bucks or a set of generic humbuckers for 14 bucks on Amazon.
There is a shitload of gear to fit any budget. You want handmade in the first world by the original designer? Pony up. You want inexpensive factory stuff that’ll get you in the ballpark? There ya go.
I've bought several Musiclily pick guards from Amazon. Never had an issue with them.
Fender Modern Pickguard, Stratocaster, 11-Hole - Tortoise Shell https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KZENQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_fgGcf1Wy6zWFT
How about checking this one?I bought it in previous days and its quality is good. https://www.amazon.com/Musiclily-Electric-Pickguard-Standard-Stratocaster/dp/B074BSQ5MC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522232341&sr=8-1&keywords=Musiclily%2Bpickguard&th=1
Sad part is I looked on line for a new one and can't find any. The only ones I can find look like this
Mine is slightly different and looks like this
Per the item details for this Fender 11-hole Pickguard (actual fender product sold on Amazon, (I have bought one that fit my 2017 VM Strat by the way) Squiers since 2004 fit the “modern” fender pick guard.
“One of the easiest ways to change the look of your fender instrument is to replace the pickguard. This pickguard fits American, American standard, American deluxe, American special, highway one, road worn, deluxe player, blacktop, standard, deluxe and modern player series Stratocaster guitars with three single-coil pickups (also fits Squier standard series Stratocaster models 2004-present).”
This can be a fun project. I'm on my 3rd squire rebuild. Don't let anyone convince you it's going to take some crazy amount of money to get this playable.
Since this is your first project I'd say buy some cheap stuff, just to get it working. Then, if you like modding, you can go and buy better parts, or move on to another build.
The simplest thing would be to buy something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Loaded-Prewired-Pickguard-Replacement-Guitar/dp/B009GSKW1Y/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1419484234&sr=8-12&keywords=stratocaster+pickguard
All pre-wired and ready to just screw in.
If you want something a bit different you could go with a double humbucker pickgaurd.
http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Mite-MM5404US-Retrofit-Pickguard/dp/B0084AB8WM/ref=pd_cp_MI_0
and a pair of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Humbucker-Pickup-Chrome-Gibson-Replacement/dp/B009A5JA98/ref=sr_1_3?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1419484443&sr=1-3&keywords=guitar+pickups
Even with volume, tone pots and a three way switch you are looking at around $40 USD for the electronics and a pickgaurd. I've never replaced a bridge so I'll let others speak to that. I don't think that's allot for a hobby rebuild. Especially since some people are suggesting that it's $100 for pickups alone.
It won't be a PRS when you are done, but it will be all yours.
