Usually there is a label/wording about the rice should be rinse or not. (Japanese : 無洗米 = No rinse required.) Not all Japanese rice are the non-rinse type, so any rice without this wording should be rinse thoroughly.
For example, this bag of Akita rice have that phrase on package clearly, meaning that it's the non-rinse type.
I was disappointed that Dharma didn't offer sheets for tapestries - only unhemmed cuts from bolts of cloth. I ordered these Queen sized sheets from Amazon and am pleased. They were ~$14 each, Prime eligible, 100% cotton (except the stitching which isn't a big deal for me), and are relatively thin so they are easy to fold.
I made these two, then ordered four more I haven't dyed yet.
