Did a little amazon digging, there's [this] (https://smile.amazon.com/Meiysh-Bridal-Headpiece-Wedding-Accessories/dp/B01COEL7XS/ref=sr_1_13_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1488293705&sr=8-13&keywords=flower+headpiece+wedding) one, or maybe this one if you buy two since it's a bit smaller? Not sure on quality, but for <$15 you could always get it as a back up and keep looking?
And amazon has a multi pack: https://www.amazon.com/Yishenyishi-Crocodile-Accessories-Hairpins-Barrettes/dp/B074KY58SY/ref=pd_sbs_194_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B074KY58SY&pd_rd_r=ADE53P3ZC6MY36MC66XE&pd_rd_w=FbJZ0&pd_rd_wg=rRokr&psc=1&refRID=ADE53P3ZC6MY36MC66XE
I used these Vidal Sassoon Omega Claw Clips, Large when my hair was long, and I have very thick hair. They work very well and are super cheap. I have gotten them at Walmart, Fred Meyers, and Target before. You just twist your hair up into your bun, then open and place the clip over the bun letting it touch your scalp on either side. Then let it slide shut while gently pressing it to your scalp.
I have the same haircut as you do. Sometimes I pull what I can back into a ponytail and clip the rest back with these clips. Sometimes I'll pull back what I can and get the rest with these soft headbands, clipping the band in place if needed.
Maybe something like a metal hair claw?
The link is probably a mess but hopefully it sends you to the right place.
Edit: the brand also has metal octopus clips too.
I fail hard at clips. I bought these and push them into my hair right at the roots in front, along the part, and at the crown. I make sure that the hump curves away from my scalp to give some volume. And I don't push very far or very hard. I stop as soon as there's any resistance. I let the roots dry then take them out. Seems to work for my hair, but as always YMMV.
The extra fabric you aren't currently stitching which isn't inside the hoop/frame you are using to stitch? I guess it would depend on what kind of stitching frame you are using. With my qsnaps I generally roll it up and use a large hair clip to contain it and hold it to the side of the frame. With scroll frames I generally set it so the dowels are she same size as the shortest side of fabric and then the fabric just gets rolled around whichever dowel to move where I'm stitching at. Regular embroidery hoops and even stitching in hand without any type of frame would work the same as the qsnaps with just rolling it up and using something like the hair clips to hold it. The only other type of frame I can think of at the moment are the stretcher bar style where the fabric is tacked to the bars and I really can't stand those because (IMO) they are extremely limited in what size projects you can make without the frame getting extremely unwieldy.
Of course, this is the most logic related item I could find on Amazon.

Hi, my name is nahcabmA, and I'm an addict
Yeah, I feel that. Even with plopping, my roots are fairly straight with 3b curls underneath. Duck clips are fairly cheap, though.
A bobby pin would probably be your best bet. They sell them in different colors, so choose ones that match your hair color best. For example, I have bronze-colored hair (sort of blondish/brownish/reddish), so if I wear a black bobby pin it stands out, but a brownish-coppery one blends in really well.
If you're just doing this while you're getting ready, you could also use a duck bill clip. It would serve the purpose, and if you check a mirror before you leave the house it would be obvious if you forgot to remove it. :)
I like to use mini claw clips like these. They stay in place much better than deva clips.
My hair is waist-length again, and I can get a messy bun with 2 spin pins, a nice proper bun with 4 spin pins.
However, I have also twisted two spin pins into each other before and that was an absolute nightmare, so sometimes I use a big claw clip to just hold my bun in place on the top. That works best if I twist super well.
I have also used hair sticks, just basic ones I got from Sally Beauty Supply like these, but I found that I have to use 3-4 to get a secure hold, which can look a little bizarre. Sometimes I use pens or chopsticks as a make-shift way to hold a bun but they don't stay in place for long.
This hair clip would be great so I can look less like a bum at work Lol.
My dress is a nameless Maggie Sottero that never actually made it into production, and I wanted some simple accessories to compliment it but not outshine ALL THAT BLING.
Hair clip was off of amazon for $18: https://www.amazon.com/Meiysh-Bridal-Headpiece-Wedding-Accessories/dp/B01COEL7XS
Earrings were $10 from Versona, but they don't seem to have the same pair in their online store.

I would love this for 2.50 :) Congrats btw! :)
I don't have any MP3s but if you decide to gift one person Hair clips different shipping options under $5
So jealous you had a photo shoot. Sounds like a ton of fun. I'm going to guess 38. I would love [this] (http://www.amazon.com/6-pack-Light-up-Fiber-Lights-Strands/dp/B0092BWWG8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1L8ON2MX2QPTV&coliid=I3TO2Z8493RAU8) if I win.
Hey, I also have super long hair, and braids are the best solution i've found. My hair is usually too heavy to stay up in a bun (ie, I am too lazy to put in the number of pins required to keep it secure during cardio), but if I do a french braid, it stays flat against my head, which lets me have good form on anything lying down, and i can also kind of tuck/roll up up the bottom into a low bun sort of if it's really bothering me.
Also, these are a miracle for when I'm extra lazy. Totally thought they wouldn't stay but they're some kind of fantastic design that locks everything in place.
HAIR TIES / CLIPS
Here are the ones I use: It takes a little bit to get the hang of how to use them and how to fit your hair in them, I usually wrap my hair into a bun form first, then place the clip on. For my normal / thin hair, I find the clip stays in better when it is wet. https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroWaste/comments/bierpj/in_case_anyone_needs_ideas_i_replaced_those_large/ - the metal one doesnt work the greatest but the coconut shell one works amazing!!
Coconut shell: https://www.amazon.com/Beautiful-Natural-Coconut-Holding-Ladies/dp/B014HE3PQU/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=coconut+hair+pin&qid=1562716156&s=beauty&sr=1-5
Another Idea..
Metal hair clip: https://www.amazon.com/Kitsch-Metal-Large-Accessory-Inches/dp/B071Z7ZL6R?th=1 * Note that it is made from plated metal.
Organic plastic-free hair ties: https://www.amazon.com/ORGANIC-ELASTICS-Biodegradable-Plastic-Free-Ethically/dp/B00NEOIQ5K/ref=sr_1_24?keywords=natural+hair+ties&qid=1562716191&s=beauty&sr=1-24 - note they are quite wide, but they do work decently well *be sure to research whichever brands you are looking at for greenwashing*

You shouldn't gift me because I don't like bacon.
Like literally, I dislike bacon. I also dislike shoes (but that isn't related to bacon. I think).
Like I want anything from YOU
12th one down. .50 there is even a .49 one!
I just got my hair cut exactly like your first picture - chin length in front and a bit shorter in back. I also have very fine straight-ish hair. I can fit most of my hair up in a ponytail with the exception of a one inch section at the bottom near my neck. I wear a headband to keep everything back and off my face and pin up that section with these clips http://amzn.com/B001KYVRSY. Headbands: http://amzn.com/B001KYTZFQ I love my cut, but I do wish the length of my cut was a little closer to your second picture!
Something like this: https://www.amazon.in/Goody-Claw-Clip-Small-Count/dp/B003YOVCLU I use the ones from the dollar store though. The smaller the better so you can target individual curls and locks.

These?:
These: duck clips
They’re a little short though (fine almost shoulder length bob). Wish I’d ordered longer ones!

Plopping, clipping (can use any type of duckbill clip), mousse/root lifter, etc.

waaaaay too much work. something like this is so easy. you can make them really easily - just take a piece of material about 3-4" wide and a foot or so long, stick a wire in the middle and sew around the wire, then bend the resulting dealie in half. You just put your hair between the two halves, roll, and smunch it up against your head.
I like using some mini clips like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003YOVCLU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ISiBDbHM1BQFV
To clip back my hair when it is wet so that it dries in that position and stays out of my face. Not sure if that would work for the shape/length of your hair, but if it does that could be an easy fix.
My hair is a similar length, my favorite easy way to wear it up is: start winding it into a bun, but after 2-3 turns, clip it with one of these babies pointing the "tail" of your hair up so it fluffs out. Ends up looking like a shoulder-length ponytail.
Ive never been able to do anything with my hair. I worked in a call center for so long that the bun in a clip is the default. I have fine scraggly hair but there is apparently "a lot of it" says anyone who does my hair which is rare lol. I use these which used to be sold in stores and now I can only find them on Amazon and they hold a ton of hair. I live 10 miles inland in Florida so its either windy, hot as balls, humid or some combination of all of them so I wear it up a lot. http://www.amazon.com/Vidal-Sassoon-Piece-Omega-Clips/dp/B007P296VA/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1452045401&sr=8-3-spell&keywords=vidal+sasoon+hair+clip
Have you looked into seeing if you could secure it to something like this? You could do a couple of them, if needed, and just glue the flower to one side of the clip.
