Mine is Blue / purple, this product is expensive but I promise it works.

Amazon silver shampoo

Never done this hope the link works.

Edit: it worked! This is a great shampoo just make sure you are using a good conditioner it can be drying but gives great color.

I've been really happy with the Viral colorwashes, they help with maintaining colors but recently I had an issue similar to yours so I used it to tone my brassy bits. It seems to cost quite a bit more online, my stylist sells them for $14.

So I spent last night burning through every platinum search string on this subreddit I could and all of the linked pages. I've ordered Keracolor Color Clenditioner and am going to use a lightener with a blue tint on my next root job. I'll update here with results.

I like Blanche MacDonald and Aveda. I've used both for cuts and colour.

I had a terrible experience as a hair model at suki's. The instructors were very inattentive and the students were very nervous. It took them so long to do the colour that my hair was falling out in chunks from over bleaching by the end of it.

Edit: I noticed you wanted pinks - you might have to bring your own depending on the salon. Aveda will definitely not have any pinks in stock.

Edit 2: This is a great pigment-depositing shampoo for maintaining pink colour. I use it once a week in-between visits to the salon to keep my pinks bright: https://www.amazon.com/Celeb-Luxury-Color-Depositing-Shampoo/dp/B01J6IO124

> Folks at work are trying to convince me to put a streak in one of dogs to match!

.......I would love to dye my dog's fur. Safely.

Is your hair still healthy? I had to start using colorwash shampoo, instead of dye at the salon, because my hair was starting to look really bad. Using this had my hair healthy again.

I recommend this shampoo to all of my vibrant color clients.
It’s a great way to refresh your color at home!

Just two things to keep in mind, this shampoo tends to dry out hair so I would definitely only use this once a week with a deep conditioner & if you’re planning on changing your color just stop using it for a few weeks so it won’t be hard to remove!

So suggestions on products/brands to use? I just want something that will eventually wash out and not lasts for months and months. I was looking at thisbut IDK if it will work.

It's worth it. If you're worried about it fading quickly, try searching for the Celeb Luxury Viral Shampoo. They deposit bright colors back into your hair to keep your fashion colors from fading super quick.

Blue shampoo (overtone makes one) would be better to get rid of the orange than purple shampoo which is for yellowness. I use this shampoo in platinum for bi-weekly brightening but I think the blue shade on the ends would bust the orange right out. Don’t leave it on for longer than 5 mins though or you’ll risk your hair actually being blue. I also really, really recommend the platinum one if you want a more cool, ash toned platinum — my hair is naturally a bit red so it gets brassy so easily!

Per my stylist’s advice to me in the past, you can also try blue/purple dye on the hair for like 30 seconds and wash it off right away

PS they sell this shampoo at ultra so if you use the blue just once to get the orange out you could return it for a refund lol 🤷🏼‍♀️ gotta be resourceful!

Bleach it first! If doesn’t have to be fully bleached, but make it like, a lighter brown, some blonde streaks will be okay, then use this dye:

Keracolor Clenditioner Color Depositing Conditioner Colorwash, Teal, 12 fl. oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BXPYFQ1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_uqZ1Cb0PDD5SV

Confirming from someone who wanted to go to the exact same color! It may have a teensy but more green sheen depending on just how blonde you initially bleach your hair to. :D
