Read the Amazon guide.
A couple items at low prices that the guide leaves out:
Chippewa boots
Sebago Docksides boat shoes
Lastly, Amazon sells millions of other non-fashion related products, so don't waste your gift card on a 'regular' price item.
Maybe I'm an insane person, but sandals.

If you're wearing dress shoes, then "Galoshes" to wear over them. (Not sure if that term is regional or not, but that's what my dad wore over his penny loafers in rain/slush.)
Sperry's are almost always onsale.
GLOBALWIN 1810 Mens Blue Grey Casual Boat Shoes 13 M https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CCNYXP7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_wLMhDbNP9JAA9
Relatively thin materials, you get what you pay for, but aside from that, pretty reliable!
No, they are most definitely not the one you linked.
These are the one's he's wearing. $59.99
I really don't think so...
They look like Dockers or at least these sperries
These are what the sperry brown gold cups look like... notice the edges of the sole. It's completely different...
If I have only $100 to spend right now on shoes to last me the summer that are super versatile, would I be better off going with the old stand-by boatshoes (either Sperry Top-Sider A/O in Sahara or Sebago Docksides in Brown Elk or Tan) or Bass Buckingham in taupe with the red brick sole?
Where can I get low-priced shorts for a trip overseas? I'm going to Greece in three weeks and since it'll be a kajillion degrees while I'm there, I'd like to get some new shorts. Preferably fairly cheap (~$20 each), as I don't really need them to last long.
Cap toe oxfords or any oxfords are out of the equation since Strands are too formal for your need.
Quality wise the price point usually goes from ~$100 and then ~$200. Although corrected grain leather, these options aren't bad for the price,
You can check Nordstrom Rack or AE outlet stores for AE seconds that will be significantly discounted.
If you're not opposed to slightly used shoes, you can also find great deals on eBay. A 7.5E is a lot harder to find than a 7.5D but the Strands last is narrow and long so you might be OK with a 7.5D in other shoes.
They look like these https://www.amazon.com/Gallery-Seven-Driving-Shoes-Men/dp/B078NKST1L but honestly maybe they’re an older version that’s why we have never seen them.As long as your husband likes them fuck it. $168 is still atleast 5x less than u would’ve paid on retail lv
http://www.amazon.com/Bass-Mens-Buckingham-Classic-Taupe/dp/B002LZTGFC
$75 for Bass Buckingham in size 13 and 14.
http://www.amazon.com/Bass-Logan-Panel-Loafer-Black/dp/B001DCF086
$73 for Bass loafers in 13, 14, and 15.
None of those. Ugly contrast stitching on all of them
Go for a classic
The staple: Sahara
My next buy: Navy
And a classic summer time: White
Omg those three pairs are gorgeus! Thanks!
What's your opinion on this and this one?
We generally don't recommend shoes that cheap, but I guess if you'll only wear them once, styling is the most important thing...
these look fine and cheap. Alternatively, look for something with a leather sole, since those are supposed to be preferred for dancing.
how about these. I have an amazon gift card and thought these weren’t bad
Maybe these would work https://www.amazon.com/UIN-Mens-Color-Painted-Canvas/dp/B07F748VD2/ref=mp_s_a_1_21?qid=1556301145&refinements=p_4%3AUIN&s=apparel&sr=1-21&th=1&psc=1

What do you all think about all-black vans slip-ons?

I just ordered some and am not crazy about them. Any recommendations for casual, easy to put on shoes? (I already have loafers)
Maybe get leather bottoms and get some rubber overshoes for the bad weather?
https://www.amazon.com/Tingley-Rubber-Moccasin-Mens/dp/B000HHQ8V6/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmrnull_1?crid=7G0VD8PCI4J0&keywords=tingley+moccasin&qid=1550754829&s=gateway&sprefix=tingley+mocc&sr=8-1-fkmrnull
Leather bottoms are dressier looking for sure.
Also, make sure you measure your feet with socks on if you are going to buy online and not try on in store.
I love my Fifths. Close to as dressy as the Parks with the small brouging strip. I’d agree they go with anything.
I have heard from others that rubber soles make the shoe stiffer.
Why not matching blue velvet loafers?

What kind of shoes can be worn with creased work pants (i.e. Dockers)? I know Oxfords are pretty obvious, but I'd like to find something more casual and comfortable. I like (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073J18WNZ/?coliid=I3GMV8Y484IOSQ&colid=T1IMB3NX6DY8&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)[these Cole Haan loafers] but I don't know if they would work with Dockers and socks. It seems like shoes without socks is the go to now, but I can't pull that off at work unfortunately.
NIB Eastland Men's Yarmouth One Eye Camp Moc 9.5
$65
I only tried it on once but it ended up being too big. Unfortunately, I missed the window to return it on Amazon by a few days so my loss is your gain.
Maybe the Eastland Yarmouth.
not particularly. I found these in gray, which isn't available on Amazon. Same price. Way more color options on Amazon.

Well you're going to have to thrift much of this outfit most likely. Grey dress pants are all over the racks at most thrift stores. Just find something that fits you in the waist and is 100% wool, a wool/silk blend, or a wool/linen blend. Should cost you 15 bucks max. Take them to a tailor to have them hemmed and probably slimmed and tapered as most are going to be very baggy. Those alterations will probably cost around 30 bucks. Grab a slim dress shirt from Uniqlo or Express; they're not good quality but they'll get you through this wedding a few more events. A casual knit tie from tie bar will run you $15 bucks. I would grab a belt from Costco; I think they're about 15 bucks and they're full grain leather. Men's Wearhouse also sells inexpensive full grain leather belts for pretty cheap as well. You can pick up a pair of Bass Weejuns loafers for $50-$75 at many stores; just make sure you get the ones with leather soles.
You should really also have a jacket, even if you take it off immediately after the ceremony. That's another $10-$15 thrift item. Just about anything not grey would do fine. Even old jackets with very wide lapels don't look bad as long as the gorges aren't too low.
Substitute any of the new stuff I listed with thrift store pickups if you happen to come across them.
That should get you in the ballpark of $150
Sahara Sperrys £48

I have Aldo Tuberman's that get a lot of wear. They look better than this on my feet, definitely not as "deflated" if that makes sense. They're not for everyone but they've held up well since I got them last summer. I really like my pair of burgundy Florsheim penny loafers. I also love my colorful Van Doren's.
Now if I only I had more money to upgrade to a higher price point!
