That's not how they work. They have glass faces and there's a little switch on the side that pops it up to reveal braille.

I put this talking watch on my wishlist for my near-blind grandfather. He can see stuff that is far away, but he can't see stuff that is near to him clearly. This watch can be great for him, as he loves to walk on a nearby track, and he can use this watch to check the time.

1. Talking watches. I had one as a kid, it was pretty cool. (Not the one linked, that's just an example, don't remember much about the one I had, bright blue kids sort of watch.)
