I don't know what the third one is, but I have 2 of those games installed on the macbook pro I'm using right now.

Quake 4

Fallout

Burning Monkey Solitaire! No question. I used to play the free demo that came on the Mac Addict CD-ROM like crazy.

$5 on Amazon for VC (maybe others)

Also GTA 3 as well Amazon Link

I must say I quite surprised and happy that they are cheaper on amazon.

I think Thinkin' Things had a game like this. Not a lot of info about the game online. We had it on Apples when I was in elementary school in the early '90s. (It was awesome.)

Good job solving it! Amazon has a bunch of copies

I'm fairly certain that the way zoning builds up did change, now that you mentioned it.

You can get Simcity 4 for mac at [amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Sim-City-4-Deluxe-Mac/dp/B000AHS0BY). Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey at $70.

After poking around thewaybackmacine for a while, it seems that there were not any blog sites, or any sites I can find, covering the chase before 2013.

I did find this curious website about Tresure Hunt clues, https://web.archive.org/web/20130702232945/http://www.treasurehuntclues.net/

mostly an advertisement of the riddleme software

now it is this site: https://www.riddleme.com/treasure-hunt-clues/

Riddleme software on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Riddle-Scavenger-Treasure-Software-Download/dp/B004X0DIBG

or trial version here: https://download.cnet.com/Riddle-Me/3000-2102_4-10512201.html

oh hey, they do have it on there I just noticed.

It says Mac, but they should offer a key, and the game is a steamplay game which means if it is on Steam, it should activate for windows no?

After a quick search I couldn't find a Windows download link, but I did find this link, which sells both the Windows & Mac boxed versions on the cheap with Prime shipping. There's also a Mac download option in that link. :)

Base version (personally not recommended)

Hi, Ricki! My name is Jami!

We actually have quite a bit in common. I too love Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones. I'm a huge musical fan and go to the theater pretty often. And I will admit to occasionally bursting into song randomly as well, ha.

Amazon link :)

Ah, of course. Who could forget the family fun pack 3.

I don't need to cope with anything, thanks :)

>whatever tweaks are being made from here on out are not going to be very noticeable. the graphics, the animations, the UI, the colors.. what you see is what you get, folks.

So all buildings/units confirmed to have single solid colors instead of icons, then? Man, no wonder people are upset!

>look back to when Civ V was in alpha/beta stages and we were getting peeks of gameplay and screenshots and compare it to launch. same story.

I actually tried to find Civ V alpha pictures showing the UI and completely failed, so if you can point one out, go for it.

I did manage to find this picture from before it was launched though. It doesn't show the UI but the graphics were clearly a lot rougher than they could've been

Amazon's Civ V product page also has a few pictures that look fairly old:

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/videogames/detail-page/civ.v.03.lg.jpg

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/videogames/detail-page/civ.v.02.lg.jpg

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/videogames/detail-page/civ.v.04.lg.jpg

And they still look pretty rough to me. Particularly that first pic with the rockets firing -- is that jungle in the bottom of the pic, or some kind of fungus? I think one of those units might be in serious need of a dermatologist...
