I agree that you will want to hold off on nursing bras until you get a better idea of what size you’ll end up being. However, one thing that’ll be very helpful right out of the gate is a nursing nightgown or robe; I recommend bringing that to the hospital with you. Super comfy and practical and you’ll probably live in it during the fourth trimester. Many nursing nightgowns double as maternity gowns too so you can purchase some now and have something comfy to lounge in during your pregnancy.

I got these from amazon and love them:

I have about 10 of these nursing tanks because I can nurse in public without a cover. The layers cover your breast enough to be discrete without the hassle of the cover (i hate using a cover).

I also have a few of the dresses that are a similar concept to the tank. These are my favorite nursing products.

I've been doing the same thing and started worrying about how I would survive before the school switches to AC for the season. I picked up these earlier this week: Bearsland Womens Sleeveless Maternity Dress Empire Waist Nursing Breastfeeding Dress Summer, Purplered+Purpleblue, Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D35XNQM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qyPPCb5DPNEGZ

The sizing seems accurate (my maternity clothes were all mediums and that's what fits for me in these), the fabric is light, and they have pockets! They seem like they might wrinkle easily, but that could also just be how they were shipped. We had a cold snap right after they arrived 🙄

The snaps are hard to redo by yourself if you plan on using it as a nursing dress after delivery, but otherwise I love it.

I never feel comfortable in hospital gowns, they even had a gown that allows breastfeeding (two gaps at the front) but that didn't work too well for me. I had a comfortable sports bra on during delivery, and afterwards I just had a little nighty on for the hospital stay- it allowed them to still examine me if needed, and the top was like a v neck with stretchy material so it was easy to pull aside to breast feed.

This is the one I got, and I was super comfy in it:

i actually really like having nursing tops, especially in summer. i live in texas and i can't do the two shirt method for like 5-6 months out of the year. i really like these tanks , this tank, these for sleeping in, and these are ok. i think i'd rather get these if i end up getting more. i like the way the smallshow ones lift up as opposed to the motherhood maternity ones that are a side opening.

I just got a kindred bravely dress / nightgown. It's both maternity and nursing... IT'S SO SOFT AND COMFORTABLE. I'm going to live in this thing.

I live in these tank tops. I have 6 of them now and wear them every day... I have a problem with getting milk all over myself constantly so I go through more than one each day and just wash them all the time. They are really good quality for being so inexpensive!

I’ve been looking at this one.

I’m only 2 months in but for me I don’t mind the touching from breastfeeding as long as it’s over the clothes. My baby has started reaching out more so if I’m not wearing a nursing tank then she will start massaging my bare torso and it feels pretty uncomfortable. You can always switch away from breastfeeding at any time and for any reason, just don’t let the “mom guilt” get to you!

I lost a bunch of weight pre- pregnancy so my bra was super loose in the cup size, so I have grown back into mine. I am still wearing an underwire cause I haven't had space restriction issues. If I need another bra before I am going to buy a nursing bra.

My best friend is a mom 2X over and she buys nursing tanks with nursing pad inserts and goes braless. In case you are interested.

I was a 32DD before pregnancy - who even knows what I am know - but I like to wear these instead of a nursing bra and just wear a looser fitting shirt over it that I can pull up/down easily!

I have one nursing bra from Motherhood maternity which works on the rare occasions when I need it but the underwire tends to get uncomfortable so I feel so much more better in the tank tops and honestly it's so much easier to nurse in my opinion!

I know you asked about bras but I personally find these better!
