Pants are Rothco BDU Cargos

Let's not forget the Navy's camouflage. Never mind, that's a camo pattern someone made with pink in it, to not actually be camouflage. The NWU has 3 variants, along with every fucking service branch having different cammy patterns for different environments. I wasn't even in the navy and I fucking knew this. A 5 minute trip on the internet will tell you that gasp the same camo patterns don't work on everything.

Unless its a "wymyn" camo pattern. Nobody could possibly see it then, because men can't hurt wymyn, so nobody gets hurt.

Different rant, ABUs were only a sort of ok pattern. The biggest waste of money was the debate the materials that were used.

As far as work boots go, for getting your men's size equivalent, I have usually gone down a size and a half and had an accurate fit. So if you wear an 8 1/2 like I do, then you'd be a 7 in men's. Danners are my absolute favorite brand because although they're expensive, they last a long time and are far less painful to break in!! I still have my 8 year old pair from when I was enlisted!

One brand of cargos (I know you said work pants) I found that remotely fit properly were the Rothco brand. They're cheap and they have a way to cinch in the sides for a better fit. You look to be on the smaller side, so I'd probably get a small if you decide on those. I ordered the medium when I was in my best shape. Depending on how much it costs to tailor the dickies, I'd just do that imho if it doesn't take too long. I'll check my work-issued cargos as well because those fit me beautifully and they weren't standard cheap work pants.

Edit: For clarity

Just get a pair of BDU pants without a pattern on them. Same weight etc., less of an issue.

Rothco on Amazon

I believe it's the whole m43 uniform. Those are about 80-85 dollars if you get them from the same people. Which again are probably the best you can get Epic Militaria Replica WW2 German M43 Field Grey Wool Trousers (34 inch) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MP17N9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hzVSDb2KJE9X9

These. They are CQR. 15 pockets including two large cargo pockets. One is flap Velcro that has a second pocket extended on the back to hold a magazine or tourniquet. The other is the same size but is accessed by a vertical zipper on the forward side. That alone makes them better than most. They are the only pants I have worn and have had extra pockets.

That listing combines multiple styles so be cautious about ordering the wrong ones.

Definitely been called out for ordering "girly" drinks. I will not apologize for ordering a Lemon drop. It's got more booze than your finger of scotch and actually tastes decent to boot! (I have nothing against brown booze, just not my preference).

Also carrying a bag (this is definitely more USA specific) . Which some might call a "murse" or "satchel". I have a big wallet, phone, keys, multitool, meds I need. Sitting on my wallet sucks, wearing cargo pants or fatigues is not exactly appropriate wear for all times/locations. Sling is much easier!

Anyone know where I can get streetwear cargo pants around 30-40$?

Some examples:

  • here

  • here I love this ones but they cost 300$... there have to be similar ones cheaper but I can't find them

I'm from down South so my idea of winter cold isn't that cold, but I've had good luck with Carhartt. I agree with the wool crowd and wanted to post a link to M-1951 field pants. They're a low-cost, very warm, hideously ugly option if you're small enough to wear them. They're made to where they can be let out an inch or two and available cheaper than on Amazon.

Yeah, my tactic is to just buy actusl military equip lol. Btw I would also recommend these pants, they're kinda expensive but still cheap in tech related terms, and your phone perfectly fits in the extra pockets. Helikon-Tex also has some nice tops. If you find any good cheap pants lemme know tho haha

I'm not paying what Rogan pays for barbell jeans. I get the pants and shorts from Condor Apparel on Amazon. Reasonably priced and looks like casual work pants. Their pants are boot cut. I got a local tailor to taper the boot area for $6/pair. Otherwise, they definitely look like cop pants.

Living in Central FL myself, you'll want to wear a normal shirt. Wicking ones will get caught on branches and torn apart. Close fitting shirts such as underarmor tend to not dissipate the impact quite as much, which may not be a problem for you, but some people prefer to soften the hit somewhat depending upon your field's max FPS.

A normal T-shirt will stay cooler than a BDU, and still allow you to do camo. However, BDUs are still an option as long as you bring a large fan and lots of water. If your field is outdoors, staying in shade also helps much more than you'd think, and BDUs can also be fairly breathable, despite their appearance. I myself wear a woodland camo tee, and an ACU BDU, including pants. If you want the pants to breathe well, order a size above what you would normally wear, and wear a belt.

I actually wear a lot of gear, and in fact wear a pair of sports-pants underneath my pants to prevent chafing. You will get hot, but I actually found it easy to get used to, despite having moved here from northern Illinois.

As for what camo to wear, you need to observe your field, and figure out what camo will be most useful. I used ACU because I usually go to the Combat City by Orlando International Airport, and it blends fairly well in the CQB house, as well as in the greenhouse, forest, and even tall grass better than other camos I'd seen. I'm also one of the few (I guess) on this sub that actually likes ACU, so take that with a grain of salt I guess. Most of the time though, I'd just go with whatever camo you like best if you're not planning on sneaking too much.

I am a 5'5" and bought the following Propper Men's Summerweight Tactical Pant, Black, 32 x 30 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WBXFI88/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Ae.BybTN57V2D
It appears these run short so it might be a good fit. I will keep you posted once I get them.

I'm also 6'8". I got LA Police Gear pants on Amazon, and am really happy with them. But they're not 40" they're either 34 or 36 inseam. These are the 3 different hiking pants I ordered for the summer. I'm a geologist, so I need a lot of light weight pants.
