Oil lamps. Here's one that looks like the round one: https://www.amazon.com/Wolfard-Inch-Original-Oil-Lamp/dp/B000YBKMSA

You can make one. Find a clay bowl (or make one out of air drying clay) and roll cotton to make a wick. Pour in ghee or vegetables oil in the bowl, add the wick and you are set. Some sites recommend you use a tealight, but it you want authenticity, then you are better off going with the oil lamp method.

There are steel ones as well.

Some on eBay. And others. And still more. Lots of styles.

Your link is not working though.

Congrats, that's so awesome! Being someone who works with health insurance companies on a daily basis, I know how much of a pain in the ass they can be! I'm glad that they finally came through for you though :)

A whole new you

Oil warmer <3

Very exciting, I hope you enjoy the hell out of it for many years. I've written about this before but you might be surprised when you get out there how little you need any kind of formal system. KISS, at least to start. :) To wit:

> Ideally we'd like enough power to power 1 or 2 led nights [sic] at night, maybe a small 32in TV etc. If there is enough power, a coffee maker maybe.

All that said I may not even get to my place next week and if I do I may die in the cold there, so there is the downside to just winging it. Do you have any pictures to post of what you got?

There are a few great ways to quickly relieve a bit of stress.

  • Bursts of exercise, such as a treadmill or shadow boxing.

  • Sleep. Try to squeeze in a nap.

  • Breathing exercises.

  • Sound and smell can also help improve your mood. So my recommendation would be some lavender oil and an oil warmer (there are many styles to choose from).

I wish you the best of luck during this stressful time! I can't stop procrastinating! This would be my item. One seller has it with free shipping.

A real lantern? Just go to amazon or ebay and search "oil lantern." Hell, here's one from five seconds of searching.

If not, WWE sells cheap crappy looking merch ones, with shiny black plastic and a bright red buzzard logo that use LEDs instead of actual flame.

Or you could get something like this using LEDs, and switch it off as you blow on it, which is what Bray does in his entrances. Far safer at least.
