The difference between acyl chlorides and magnesium chloride is clearly explained by a quick Google search of each. I don't agree with the way the commenter said what he did but I agree with him 100%. OP please rethink this idea and just find a magnesium supplement with dmso that's premade like this. Dmso is a powerful solvent and can be very dangerous to use. For example you may not have washed the container out enough before you decide to put it in there. Every last bit of dirt, soap, bacteria, you name it, goes directly into your blood stream. Or you pick the wrong material to hold it seems fine at first but you slowly notice it losing its strength. All that material that's been melted away is in your body now. Be careful op and don't do something stupid because of someone's poorly worded comment.

Sure thing, I got it at a local health food store but Amazon does sell it.

CBD is dirt cheap.

CBD-infused products are not cheap at the retail level, because consumers are paying for the marketing/aesthetic/packaging/"thrill". Ever notice how CBD products seem to be the most expensive in states where cannabis is prohibited? Or feature packaging that alludes to the psychoactive nature of traditional cannabis (relax, groovy, etc). These products are marketed as novelty or health supplement products for customers who don't regularly use cannabis. It feels naughty, but safe!

"CBD" sounds so natural, but what is it, really? While organically derived, it's still simply a chemical - A white crystalline powder, derived and isolated from hemp.

One 1,000mg jar of pure, powdered CBD isolate is $20 on Amazon

And here is a 60ct jar of 5mg CBD gummies (300mg total) for $59.99.

I haven't looked yet, but I'd imagine that a bulk (~1kg) purchase of CBD isolate on Alibaba would drop that $20 gram price to ~$1-$2 per unit.

A 28oz bag of gummy bears is $3.

It's very thin economic bubble, created by prohibition and artificial market restrictions. It won't last much longer.

Currently in an migrane episode ( it started last week). Once they start nothing works right away. But, if I start exercising regularly, eating healthier, and trying to stay calm (I'm always freaking out about everything) they slowly go away. I know, it sucks.

That's what I'm doing right now. I should always do it but when I'm migrane free I start acting like I will never have them again. So, migranes are a painful reminder that I should take care of myself.

My wife used to suffer from them as well (before I met her). She told me her neurologist injected her head with something (she doesn't remember what) multiple times. She is pretty much migrane free now.

Prevention is the key. You have to identify your triggers, mines are anything pork based or processed meats. So, no deli meats, sausages, etc. Stress is also another major triggering factor for me. I have found walking helps a lot with it (even if it is walk-chasing my daughter at Walmart), it takes my mind off of my problems.

I'm now trying this new supplement, hoping it will make a difference. Bought it just based on the Amazon reviews :
My Brain! Natural Headache Vitamins - Healthy Brain Function, Ease Your Mind, Open & Clear Head Relief - Strong Potency Magnesium, Butterbur, Feverfew - 60 Vegetarian Soft Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VDQ2LZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IHbvDb41Y0M20

Hope it helps

Menstrual cramp was a nightmare for me. Lots of pills till I found the Magnetic therapy.
You can try "Therapeutic Magnetic Clip" that Amazon sales, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZL4TMT.
it provides lot of relief. Much better than alcohol or pain medications. Much less cost as well.

Or if that doesn't work there's like hundreds of mail order sites that will ship to rural areas

I found cherry juice to work, but only if I was consistent and drank it every day. I'd drink more if had some alcohol. If you're seriously in pain, you should see a doctor. They do have a prescription drugs and injections to resolve the flare up. This is the supplement I'm using.

> butterbur

@OP -- Be careful with this one! Make sure whichever supplement brand you are using for butterbur (if you decide to go with it) is USP/NSF/GMP certified, and I would suggest looking them up on something like labdoor.com.

When butterbur is processed, it needs to undergo very specific procedures to remove a harmful chemical. Unfortunately, not all companies do this! (And the one who did process the toxin correctly, ultimately changed their procedures so they were no longer removing it. It's still sold in the US, but Germany (where the company is based) has strict regulations on supplements and actually banned it from being sold there. That's why many neurologists are no longer recommending it.)

(More information on those studies.)

The one butterbur supplement supplier that I found (almost a year ago) GMP certified and at least advertised that they removed the toxin was MigraEase, by Life Extension... That said, given the lack of regulation, they might very well be saying one thing and doing another...

Edit: The bottle on Amazon no longer seems to carry the certification, though PeakLeaf's bottle does... Not sure what happened in a year, or why two different companies are using the same product name, but clearly something did... Additionally, Life Extension is saying that doctors in Germany still recommend butterbur in their product description, which is clearly not quite true... So I don't know if I trust them anymore.

(The USP/NSF/GMP/etc certification is just that they were paid to test the supplement at one point, and it meets whatever standards for safety that they set out. But AFAIK, they aren't as stringent as the FDA's standards.)

As an aside, I actually had the complete opposite aversion -- supplements are not at all regulated by the FDA, so I was way more wary about taking them than I was about the regular medications, lol.

Magnesium deficiency is a real thing and one of it's symptoms is anxiety. Check this out.

Magnesium supplements may help but they tend not be as absorbent as magnesium through the skin.

very informative article.

hopefully this is OK to mention but - my girlfriend and I just created a 100% natural/herbal supplement that helps to regulate hormones and ease menstrual symptoms (cramps, PMS, etc.). You can check it out on Amazon and I'm happy to answer questions about it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L8DEMCO

I buy the NootropicsDepot one - here's a link to it on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HFN5Q3A - you can get it for a bit cheaper on the website https://nootropicsdepot.com/palmitoylethanolamide-pea-400mg-capsules/

Lots of studies for it in pain, seems to help in many cases.

You can buy it in pharmacies in the UK but it’s available online too. It’s completely herbal, but works really well. I can’t recommend it enough. I don’t know many people who use it, so not able to speak for everyone, but it feels colder than ice on tense muscles and really dulls pain. I don’t find that herbal meds really work well often, but this does.

Tiger Balm White Ointment

Peppermint oil helped me too. Also arnica oil, but only this specific brand- https://www.amazon.com/Max-Arnica-Homeopathic-Roll-Bruises-Strains/dp/B01D91JX8Q

I also noticed if I looked at screens for too long, and didn’t sleep well, the headaches would be way worse.

Remember to only do it for 5 minutes at a time! But you can try rocking your knees ever so slightly side to side. Wrap a scarf or an ace bandage around your knees (not to tight) to allow your hips to completely relax. I ruptured a disk in my spine several months ago and this along with a tens unit is what helped me recover the most.

P.s. If your pain doesn't subside after a day or two, go see a doctor!
