Here is a cute 38KK in black and in white

Here is the girdle. I wear all three pieces together. I would suggest taking the stool softener in the morning, afternoon and evening throughout recovery.

Day before surgery:

Wasn't able to eat or drink after 11 p.m. I could have clear liquids til 3 a.m. I went to bed around 8 p.m.

Morning of Surgery:

Woke up at 2:45 a.m. Drank the clear pre surgery drink. Checked into the hospital at 5 a.m. Ten minutes later they had me in a prep room. Did a urine sample right away. Then they gave me some medicine to help with the pain when I woke up after surgery. They drew blood to ensure they had the right type in case I needed a transfusion. They hooked up my IV here as well. Signed more paperwork and spoke to an anesthesiologist. They took me to the OR around 7 a.m.

Surgery:

Layed on the table and they covered me in toasty blankets. They put something through my IV which I think was something to do with anesthesia. That part was weird. All of my orifices felt like lava hot air was coming out of them. It didn't hurt just felt super off. They said it was normal. They then put the mask on my face and 5 deep breaths later and I was out.

After Surgery:

I woke up in phase one recovery at about 10 a.m. They checked my temp and blood pressure and fed me ice chips. Throat was sore due to the breathing apparatus they had in me. (This and a catheter was put in and take out all while I was unconscious). Once a private room opened up they rolled my bed down to recovery phase 2. Here I was given a menu of drinks and food. I needed to show them I could eat and drink without troubles. Once I had food in my stomach they gave me hydrocodone for the pain. I needed to also show then I could pee on my own before leaving. The nurse walked me to the bathroom and they had a bowl in it to collect the urine for more testing. There is a bit of blood. Don't worry that is normal. Getting up and back down was really rough. Once I got back to bed I laid flat to rest. Once the pain had subsided enough I strapped myself into the girdle.

After Recovery:

They wheeled me to the inhouse pharmacy to collect more hydrocodone to take home with me. After that I got a ride home at around 2 p.m. and set up in bed. On the first day I was able to walk around and wasn't as incapacitated as I thought I would be. Still try to take it easy if you can.

Day 2:

I slept alright with the help of the hydros and ibuprofen. Woke up and just trying to stay in bed as best I can. Pain is tolerable. I can keep you posted as I go through my recovery to help you know what to expect. It's going to be different depending on each person but hopefully this is helping.

There are many options but I bought this brand as they were cheap and I'm almost 7 months.

I actually have somewhat similar measurements to yours (except my snug underbust is 40 inches and my leaning bust is about 54 inches). The calculator gave me a 38HH/J, but I've found that I'm having better results in a 38H/HH. I remember when Lane Bryant was the only place from which I bought bras; but finding cuter bras in a size that actually fits my boobs was an eye-opener!

I think the calculator averages your last three measurements to find your cup size, but since pendulous girls will have a larger leaning bust measurement (even though the extra inches aren't actually breast tissue), it can throw off the measurements. I'd start with 40HH bras and go from there.

I can't give too much in the way of specific bra advice, but one thing I'd recommend is to start your search at Amazon. There's quite a few bras there that have free shipping and returns (without needing Prime) so you have the freedom to experiment without wasting a ton of money. Also, the vast majority of bras sold there will be in UK measurements, so you won't have to do too much conversion; just be on the lookout for the ones that do have US sizes.

One bra I'd recommend not getting is the Panache Flirtini. I would have had a better result with this one in a 40H, but even at just a cup size down it made my boobs... disappear. Literally, I put on the bra, looked down, and went "where did they go?" Which is sad because it was super cute; for someone with high projection, though, it doesn't seem to be ideal.

Two other bras I have are a Curvy Kate Bardot and a Curvy Kate Jewel. Both fit okay on me - but they're still a bit too shallow. I've been trying to refer to the cup depth spectrum on the shape guide page here, so it might also come in handy.

All the bras you got are all sorts of wrong for you. They are meant for breasts that don't stick out much and naturally have a much rounder shape and more volume on top than yours do.

Brafitting is essentially this game just with breasts and bras. You are currently trying to shove the pink triangle into the slot for the blue circle.

>Pictures 3 and 4 are a bra I got from Victorias secret a while ago; it is a 38ddd. Your can clearly see it does nothing for my back fat but surprisingly out of all the cups it's the one that fits the best?

Looking at the rest of the pictures I think the underwires of the 38DDD sit way too low and hide how much too small the bra really is.

Ditto for the black Walmart bra, the wires are clearly not in your inframammary fold. You are spilling out of the bottom because the band is too loose. This is a quality issue and a cup shape issue.

My recommendation to you would be to try the Elomi plunges in 42E/F.

Both the plunges with the stretch lace (Carmen, Lexi, Jocelyn, Valentina, Danielle, etc) as well as the ones with the non-stretch lace (Betty, Matilda, Anushka, etc) are worth trying.

From Panache Sculptresse, consider Flirtini.

Looking at Lane Bryant Cacique, the "Fishnet lace illusion full coverage bra" (Item #228861), the "Body Essentials balconette bra" (Item #223837) and the strapless bras look interesting shape-wise, but feel free to try other Cacique bras as well.

>Do you think more of a longline bra will work?

No, because longlines assume that you got a flat plane of ribs right under your breasts and only get wider in the hips. With you and me and our significant amount of chub in the stomach area all that happens is that the chub pushes the wires out and away of the inframammary fold, giving far less support in the breast area than regular bras do.

I'm the one who suggested the Tamara, and while I glad it feels good I think we can find you an even better fit!

In your last fit checks you were worried about not filling out the tops of cups and the side band of your bras rolling down - a half cup has no top to fill out and I knew the Tamara had side boning and wide wires, which I thought would help with the band issue. But it doesn't have enough immediate space for your FOB shape and - in my experience - most half cups don't.

That's being said, there are models that may still work better for you like the Curvy Kate Ritzy, Elomi Anushka and Fantasie Marianna. Freya has a plethora of padded half-cups, but the Patsy and the Rapture are the classic stocked styles. You should also give balconettes another chance: Sculptresse Flirtini is pretty closed on top/FOB friendly, as is Curvy Kate Bardot/Madagascar. And if you can swing it, try 38F and 38E in some styles to get a better idea of fit (as suggested in your previous fit checks).

A word on wires: Curvy Kate probably has the lowest, followed by Panache/Sculptresse then Elomi. I really don't know what will be more comfortable for you and the side panel issue - trial and error might be your best bet.

I think I linked this before, but Mrs. BeBe is a blogger in your size range (38F, FOB) and has some good recs on her site, too!

WACOL STRAPLESS RED CARPET BRA I SWEAR

This bra was around $60 and I don’t know how much you mean by “breaks the bank,” but I feel the strapless bra was so worth for me because it let me wear all the strapless/off the shoulder/square neck tops I want. These tops are flattering on me but I didn’t wear them often because I couldn’t without the straps showing.

I’m a 28 F but got a 30 DD and it stays up all day, I’m able to wear it under anything even if the outfit doesn’t even call for a strapless bra!

I bought mine on amazon (linked below) so if you have prime you can try and return.

Good luck!! Don’t give up!!

I found a couple of styles you could try that may work. Wacoal or
Glamorise. Try 34DD in them and maybe the next cup size up; which in the Wacoal is 34G and the Glamorise appears to be 34F (in US sizing, sometimes they refer to DDD as DDD/F so I guess that's what is happening here. also maybe the Wacoal Embrace Lace could be worth trying.

There's really loads of options in 34DD and if you need 34DDD US/34E UK, there's still more than plenty. But it may take some doing to work through them, depending on how hard it is to find a match.

Hello! I’ve found a good fit in this Glamorise bra. Glamorise Women's Full Figure Plus Size Wonderwire Lace Bra #9845, Lilac, 36H

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RMG89P7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zoiYDbTJBMBY8

36H (US) as it turns out after lots of try-ons in several brands. This Glamorise bra stays closer to the IMF without riding down. Good shape but not good enough. Need more side support- it lets me fall too much East-West for my taste.

Any feedback?

Elomi Morgon and a couple of Prima Donna Couture on order.

Agreed. I have been switching to racerbacks for aesthetics with tanks but this is my go-to bra when wearing t-shirts.
