I wear them so fucking often it's become an addiction.
You buy your first Adilette/ Kawa sliders and think 'hmm, comfortable, AND stylish, wow!'.
Then slowly you forget you own sneakers.
The slider consumes you menacingly, you look for perfectly clean matching socks that sit above the ankle so as not to disturb the beautiful crisp sillhouette of le slide.
You start buying more and more expensive slides:
UGG
Suicoke
Gucci
Louis Vuitton
Yohji Yamamoto
Rick Owens
From then on it's a slippery slide into open toed foot wear depression.
Rage on into the sunlight my flip flop friend, we will win the war against the Lacey Lad crew.
TLDR; I like slide.
New reward: These $20 & free-shipping memory-foam slippers and a trip to a warm shower:

It's called HomeIdeas travel slippers. the heel has a strap that can be buttoned to the front, for a slip-in.
I got mine from Amazon.

Size 10 = 3.5 oz I've used mine about 20 nights in the woods and around the house for 6 months.
I'm not sure. They're sized pretty perfectly for me at size 11 US i.e no unnecessary additional space. They may be a little small on you. You could always gift them though perhaps if they don't fit. Or amazon sells them to make them easier to return if needed.
I bought these last week and they are soo comfortable.

Monster feet slippers. I've worn two pair to death but they're great and warm. And I get to make "bearfoot in the kitchen" jokes AND pretend to maul my bf with them.

These slippers would be awesome because I want the right to bear feet. I already have the right to bear arms! HAHA get it? get it? I'm bad at jokes. conviviality !
I feel your pain. Looked long and hard to find these https://www.amazon.com/Columbia-Packed-Out-Omni-Heat-M/dp/B00GUY26N4/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1541737229&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=columbia%2Bslippers%2Bmen&dpPl=1&dpID=41irMRGgxmL&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1 if I’m at a resort where I may have to walk far or if I plan to stay for apre ski it’s nice to take your boots off. It’s also nice to walk to and from your car at east coast icy parking lots with these light weight slippers on. They fit in slim backpacks.
Here's a pair I found on Amazon.
Looks like they are available now in Amazon as well. If you are looking for affordable cool weather socks and hood then not a bad option. Prime shipping should get you these for thanksgiving. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07573SX9Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1510678637&sr=8-10&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=AEGISMAX
Haha! P.S. When will someone buy me these?
Only used them once so far, but these down booties are a pretty stellar value: https://www.amazon.com/AEGISMAX-Booties-Slippers-Filled-Slipper/dp/B07573SX9Y/
In your sumo, you raise your hips before the bar even leaves the floor. Work on your foot positioning to try and get as close to the bar as your body will allow. The goal is for your hips and bar to rise together and then lockout, try to imagine falling backwards while standing up with the weight in your hand. That should help keep you a bit more upright and allow your hips to do their thang. Someone will probably shit on me for saying this but you want your knees to lockout before your back does in the sumo.
With all that said, you look like you're built to pull conventional, so if you aspire to compete keep the sumo as a deadlift accessory and whatnot. Otherwise do your thing.
Additionally are those running shoes? You will be better off deadlifting barefoot or with some type of hard thin soled shoe. Think converse or some of these
Try these! These are the only socks I wear. Tight (regular) socks make my nerve pain worse.

I wear good comfortable boots that I've already got broken in. You really don't want to be nursing blisters all week. And tons of socks - I brought two unopened bags last year and didn't regret it. Gave some away to people who didn't bring enough.
I also have a pair of these for running around camp at night. Wouldn't want to wear them to the portos, but I've got a trailer so I don't have to.

I know my dad and husband both get lots of use from their moccasins/house slippers. Especially with fall and winter coming!
Try this one out
Edit: I want to buy more socks now.

These aren’t the same exactly but they’d do the job I think! And oddly enough, when I googled “vegan men’s slippers” I got only non vegan results! When I just googled “men’s slippers” I got a bunch of vegan options!

Like This? These look like they could be solid, more like a shoe and look super comfy, thanks.

My all-time favorite pair of shoes are these Cushe slip-on loafers. I bought several pairs before they went out of business, then started looking for a replacement.
Merrell offered a nearly identical shoe for a while, but it seems like those are being phased out as well based on the sizes available on Amazon and the lack of listings on the Merrell site.
My ideal shoe is comfortable / breathable, but with a solid sole for walking around urban areas. Boat shoes and loafers seem like the most likely alternative, but the soles don't seem great for extended walking. I also prefer a slip-on instead of laces.
Any ideas?
If he’s a homebody, consider some really nice slippers. I never considered myself a slippers guy until I got a pair of these Sorel slippers and they’re all I wear.
I lieu of that, maybe a nice new pillow.
If you don't already have one of these you need one. (There's also Ten's, if that's your cup of tea.) Also, these are adorable.
Per moi? These to help with the lack of an ice maker in my freezer, and this because this movie makes me so goddamn happy. I really really want it!
