The other end was just flopping around?

No - you misunderstood. He didn't have an anti-static wristband that he forgot to ground... he wasn't wearing an anti-static wristband at all.

He was wearing one of those live-strong type bracelets

I just use a running cap (2 oz)

I use a UV buff for my neck and put sunscreen on my ears and face.

Thanks. I've got a couple of the Headsweats hats which I really like.

I was going to buy one for under the helmet, since my head sweats so much. I instead bought an Under Amour Skull Cap. It has pretty much solved my head sweat issues and my helmet fits so much better when wearing it.

Meh. Maybe you're right on the price; she liked it so I bought it. But whether $90 or $40 or $4, any watch that condenses on the inside upon exposure to the mild temperature change of water is still a rip off, doubly so when it's sold as a dive watch with a screw down crown and says "professional 200 meter" right on the face with "suitable for scuba diving" in the product description. And they want $28 in S/H to process the warranty claim! ...Fuck. That.

Also worth noting that the little date magnifier appears to be little more than a glued on piece of rubber/not part of the crystal. Maybe ya'll probably knew that...I didn't expect it.

You guys are free to draw your own conclusions. I'm just saying I found this watch to be a shit poor value for the $ and it ruined the Invicta brand for me. I'd steer clear if you ever intend to get it wet.

Any with a mesh side and UV rated. This Dorfman Pacific hat or similar is the style I always buy. Having the mesh in the summer makes a huge difference. I usually get mine from a hat vendor at the Mesa Flea Market who sells Dorfman Pacific hats, as well as other brands. https://www.amazon.com/DPC-Outdoors-Solarweave-Treated-Cotton/dp/B001AF15HQ/ref=cts_ap_1_vtp

Have you considered a Baby-G? They're quite a bit smaller than normal G-shocks (almost a 1-1.5 cm), and have the features you want.

Here's one that looks nice, here's another that looks a bit like the GD-350 (though I'm not a fan of the grey/white text on a black background).

I really like my Halo Anti-Freeze headband. Thick enough to stop windchill on the ears but easily fits under my helmet. The sweat blocker strip on the front does a really good job of keeping sweat out of my eyes.
