Here you go. Fantastic price but bear in mind that it's one-sided so if you want to hang it vertical it will be backwards from how it's supposed to be hung.

Hey thanks for the reply! I appreciate it.

I was thinking of getting some black light posters (I may not, those may be too "hippie"ish for what I'm going for, I don't want my suitemates thinking I'm a stoner or anything) and maybe a black light.

I'm thinking about getting this tapestry and I'd also like this one, but I don't have too much money. So I have to pick my psychedelic things on a budget.

I'm not very good at art, but I would like to do some like abstract paints with a bunch of melting and mixing colors, I think that'd be neat.

This is a really cool blacklight poster, and it may be worth picking up a blacklight lightbulb.

Your minerals idea is really good, I hadn't thought about that. I was thinking of picking up some sand and like a cool jar and maybe make an inorganic terrarium, since pretty much every plant I had last year died, besides my cactus.

I did a search for "mandala tapestry" on Amazon. If you want this exact one: https://www.amazon.com/Tapestries-Mandala-Tapestry-Hanging-Bohemian/dp/B00VT8FVF6

u/zenzizenzizenzike · 2 pointsr/LSD

I think she means mandala tapestries like this.

u/mistephe · 2 pointsr/malelivingspace

I'm guessing that wallpaper is actually a tapestry.

Edit: Maybe this one?

Oi vey. It's like they're trying to make it soul-crushing.

I think the lighting may be the worst part, but it's so hard to choose. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY LIGHTS IN RANDOM PLACES?

God, this place is upsettingly terrible.

My advice: skip IKEA and other stores, and head straight to auction houses and/or craigslist. I have gotten amazing pieces for SO cheap. Seriously.

My last venture to my local auction house, I got a 50-year-old hand-woven Indian quilted/embroidered tapestry (looks kinda like this, but way better), that's about 10 x 10 feet, weighs 30 pounds, a 12 x 9, handwoven Persian rug from the 50s, and a 200-lb, hand-carved coffee table made from antique Morroccan doors, inlaid with brass details and richly carved.

The grand total for these 3 gems, which I will keep forever, was 600 dollars, including the AH cut. The table alone is worth 3 grand, and that's for a smaller, simpler version of the one I have.

I also picked up a gorgeous armchair in mint condition on Craigslist for 45 dollars, plus 20 for delivery to my 3rd-floor apartment.

You'll have to be patient, and dig around, but it's worth it.

You can totally find things that fit your style, as well. If I found things for my very particular, niche tastes, so can you! :)

Also, I highly recommend buying a handful of cheap tapestries on amazon. I used them in my old shitty apartment to really amp it up. They look great, are light, and easy to put up. I put one on all 4 of my walls (4 of the same) to create a "wallpaper), then draped an extra-large one over my ceiling to give it a tent-like feel, throwing in battery-operated yellow string lights for extra oomph. It was SUPER cozy, and cost my like 60 bucks total.

Here's a few examples. These ones are a bit bohemian, which isn't for everyone, but you can find all kinds of styles. They look better irl than in the pictures, most of the time. All of them are under 20 bucks. These will give your room depth, character, and hominess, and have the added bonus of covering those hideous studs.

Also, get rugs. And cheap artwork. And curtains. ASAP.

All can be found cheaply on Craigslist/Auctions/thrift stores even.

Hope this helps!

Ooh, now i know the english word!

Yes, we have some old wall tapestries from the 60's and 70's. They where common back then here in Sweden.

Edit: This one on amazon is amazing!

u/traphoopqueen · 2 pointsr/ElectricForest

i suggest the larger tapestries, like [this] (https://smile.amazon.com/Launched-Tapestry-Madhu-International-Multicolor/dp/B01LWMMN14/ref=sr_1_2?s=furniture&ie=UTF8&qid=1497011547&sr=1-2&keywords=large+tapestry). you only really need 2 because you can rotate them to always block the sun while at camp. protip: large binder clips are the best for easy adjustment!

u/suckinonmytitties · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I really like this elephant tapestry. It's adorable and whenever you move into a new place big empty walls look so sad so its good to use a big piece like this that you can then match the rest of the room to! It also comes in other color patterns. You're a big girl now! Have fun decorating!

u/industry-standard · 2 pointsr/minimalism

No fancy clothes necessary.

You are buying the wall wardrobe because you need a place to store your clothes right? If you were trying to decorate your place with clothes, they would be in frames on the wall.

If you were really concerned with the 'look', I would just buy some fabric curtains that had a nice poignant pattern ( Hokusai, for example ) that you could use to cover the wardrobe. The curtains then become the statement in the room, not your 'ordinary' clothes.

I like the visual aesthetic of a curtain rather than a lot of distracting things on the wall.

Link to Tapestry

I got it from Amazon, but you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. When I bought mine it was around $15, but now I see it's listed for $25.

I plan to use this on my ceiling. Gonna use a layer of reflectix as a vapor barrier and loosely tack one of these tapestries up. You could probably use thin bits of molding or trim to hold it up with some class.

I know your pain. It feels so shitty and helpless when you make 10 cuts and can't figure out what's going wrong. Like others have suggested; planks make a good alternative too. Much easier to fit around windows. Also very classy and potentially aromatic .

Good luck dude!

That couch is DOPE! I just ordered this light-up flower crown that I am stoked for! I also got some glow in the dark temp tattoos but I don't think they'll get here in time :(.

If you see this trippy mushroom tapestry at camp, come say hi!

u/Icedteabrewbags · 1 pointr/LSD

Amazon sells a lot of different tapestries. This is the one in the picture.

u/ddun · 1 pointr/DesignMyRoom

I would suggest painting your walls a light green, such as this. This is the color palette I would follow. Another easy way to bring depth to a room without painting would be a tapestry, such as this, or any of these.

I would also stain your furniture to the same color as your mirror, or painting the dresser & nightstand white. It will be easier to stain the furniture because all you need is a bottle of stain and a rag, unless the furniture is finished with some sort of sealant. This will create more balance with the floor.

As for your bed, if you stain the furniture, you can leave it the way it is. I would just look into buying a dark brown headboard or bed frame to match everything. A medium sized mirror above your bed will help make the space seem larger as well!

> The black and white American flag is taken as a symbol for the economic recession that the country is going through. It is believed to be a call for change and a symbol of freedom of expression. The black and white version of the flag is not considered to be defacing the official flag of the country. On the contrary it is believed to be suggestive of the current situation of economic turmoil that the country is going through.

From the Q&A here.

ive seen cool ones but im having a hard time googling cool living room flags. if you have multiple heritage roots could be cool- https://old.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/8ww122/updated_my_living_room_finally_got_yugoslavia/

or some cool tapestries (these aren't girly, I know plenty of chill dudes who rock things like these in their room its tight)

or you could honestly mount the tv higher on the wall, and that would make that entire table available. you could keep your xbox/ps and maybe some cool speakers on it like this

u/bob721 · 1 pointr/LSD

I have a really similar one but it's black and I actually like it more because it doesn't have any animals on it...(not that don't think this one is cool too, it is!)
