Would a racing belt like this work? It has loops for the gels that keep them pretty snug. Haven't had any trouble with bouncing on mine.

I think, if you ask them, they'll all agree that D&D is a nice escape for a couple hours. Maybe they'd be up for a red flag, white flag scenario (make your own, no need to spend money, this was just an example).

When the red flag is up, like while waiting for everyone to arrive, talk about what ever you want. When the table is ready, put up the white flag and it's nothing but immersive D&D. Take a break, switch the flag to red, break time over switch the flag to white, end the night, switch the flag to red.

The reason our group had to do this was because too many players were saying one thing as their PC only to walk it back. It got so messy and some of the players were getting annoyed. So we incorporated this flag system and it worked really well.

Best of luck to you.

A few people mentioned race belts. I use this one. It holds like 8 or 10 gels (I only use a couple) plus your number. Strap it on after the swim and don't worry about pins or whatever.

I got a bib belt cheap a couple of years ago. I think it was $5 at the time. It's easy to reposition when changing clothing.

I know this game! I played the hell out of it as a kid.

It's called JumpStart Numbers. I still have the disc, along with the Spelling and Music ones.

The closest thing to a download I can link you to is this site (It's a trial version, unfortunately) or the Amazon link

your normal racebib and sometimes goo holders. with a belt you just pin it to the belt and then snap the belt on instead of fussing with pinning it to your trisuit or shirt before the bike. it was too uncomfortable to wear one under my wetsuit.

some belts are just belts with loops for gels with no other "pockets" that become a fanny pack kinda like this which also doubles as a bib belt that doesn't make holes in your pretty running shirts.

You should buy one of these. Safety pins scare me while doing exercise events... though most of my running is tri/duathlon.

Just stick them in the band of your shorts.

I also have this belt. There's not much to it, super minimalist, but it does the job.
