Oh yeah, shouldn't be a problem. Also, it doesn't come with a mount, just bolts to attach it to something. I bought 2 of these to attach it to my roof basket using 2 inch wide U bolts with about a 1 inch spacer from Lowes. In order to keep it from rolling to the side I slid the extra length of that mount under the clamp mount that attaches the basket to the roof racks. I can send pics tomorrow if you like.

This might work, under 3 bucks each on amazon. Camco 42532 7" Awning Spring. Really no way to tell how much pull the factory springs are so it’s a guess.

nope, my awning did not come with brackets. instead, i purchased these two things to mount it to my roof rack
