So for vitamins and supplements.

And then for eggs and brands it's pretty easy and skim through. Many brands say "contains eggs and milk" So, you can skim through and read what each has.

Some people take a shot of b12 but, many foods such as cereal and non dairy milks are fortified too!

You can easily find vegan cookies such as Oreos and others. It really depends on where you are located as well.

I would drink daily soy milk to keep up calcium but, you can eat greens which contain iron and calcium. Actually most multi Vitamins that are vegan contain iron. So, you won't need really a separate iron supplement.

Anything else just ask me! 😊

glad to hear. I'd recommend a high quality B complex.

I take this one. This one's got 100 mg of inositol which helps with anxiety too.

Also taking vitamin B2 at high doses like 400 mg per day is also known to help with migraines, so you have two options there. I would personally start with the B complex though.

I take these (bypass 18 months ago):

  1. One a Day's Womens - I'm a woman so if you're a guy you should probably get the men's version
  2. Bariatric Advantage Dry Vitamin D
  3. Nature's Way B-50 Complex
  4. Natrol Maximum Strength Biotin
  5. Kirkland's Calcium Citrate

Then, I'm not currently on either of these, but for a while I was taking:

  6. NOW Vitamins B-1 Thiamine
  7. Country Life Dry Vitamin A

When taking all of these vitamins daily as recommended my numbers have all come back fine. Personally, I HATE the B- Complex because it smells funny, and I've tried a few brands and discovered that its just the way the B-50 complex smells and I just deal. Have one of those lame pill/vitamin containers that you can fill for a whole month, and I keep the B-50 in a separate container because otherwise ALL of the vitamins smell and its a more horrible process.

It's visible. I use this, though I doubt it's the best (it's just available at the supermarket): http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Light-Complete-B-Complex-Tablets/dp/B000EEBWIQ/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Thanks for your reply. I take compounded natural progesterone daily (50 mg pre-ovulation, 75mg during (albeit short -- 6-8 day) luteal phase. The [adrenal support] (http://www.amazon.com/BioGenesis-Nutraceuticals-Adrenal-Support-Plus/dp/B001J80U02/ref=pd_ybh_18) I take 2x daily contains B complex vitamins, and I no longer suffer from fatigue.

If you do decide that you want to do something about it, try a B-complex vitamin. B6 is the key, but you are supposed to take B vitamins in balance. This one got me from a regular 10 day luteal to a 13 day luteal in only one month of taking it.

I started with these then tried a couple of other brands after to see if there was a difference but usually came back to this one, definitely more expensive but I had zero negative reactions from them. Also check for niacin, I had bad reactions from niacin as well but there are brands/types out there that have much less or none compared to others.

(Edit: 140mg caffeine, correction courtesy of DonOblivious)

This is a good answer, but an incomplete one. Looking at the side of a can it looks like you have a few basic ingredients: Sugar (25g), Taurine (1000mg), Caffeine (2500140mg+), Ginseng (200mg), and B Vitamins.

Taurine and Caffeine are both stimulants, and do the bulk of the CNS loading in the mix.

B Vitamins aid in the metabolism of energy from various energy sources, and alone is a very effective supplement for energy levels.

Ginseng seems to have about a thousand unproven uses, but is generally accepted to lower blood sugar, and improve insulin response, this is likely responsible for the 'whoa this is great' energy drink high, instead of the 'too much Halloween candy' sugar sickness.

And Sugar is just a pick your poison kind of exercise.

Adding costs all up to the above linked products:
Taurine: $23/kg Serving: 1000mg = $.023 / serving (1000 servings per pouch)
Caffeine: $2.99/(100200mg) Serving: 140mg = $0.02 / serving (143 servings per bottle) (edited)
B Vitamins: $8.98/100 Serving: 1 tablet = $.09 / serving (100 servings per bottle)
Ginseng: $18.65/(250
500mg) Serving: 200mg = $.03 / serving (625 servings per bottle)

Grand total is about 5116 cents per every can of monster replaced, assuming you're alright providing your own juice crystals, I have as well not hunted at all for price reductions or bulk pricing on the above supplements.

If you want to avoid the stimulants and still get an invigorating effect, I would just recommend the B vitamins on their own, combined with some free office coffee, they work quite well.

Often the "set up" to nerve issues happen before yoga class and then the poses might trigger the numbness or pain. So watch what your activities are throughout the day. For most people it involves sitting all day long at a desk in front of a computer. If that's the case make you sure you get up and walk around regularly. A few times a day you will want to do light stretching, even if it means going to the washroom to do it.

Another very common source of numbness and nerve pain is a B vitamin deficiency. So start taking a high quality supplement of B vitamins. This is the best I have found http://www.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Vitamin-B-Complex-Capsules/dp/B00280M12A#

Sorry to hear about your Raynaud. My buddy has that, very uncomfortable. Your issues may be related but either way both the tips above can only help.

The last advice is to ask your teacher for adjustments for poses that trigger the numbness. I personally feel like people with special needs should take a package (5-10 classes) of privates to adjust their practice. It's one thing for a teacher to give you modifications for a few poses but s/he has an entire class of students to deal with. If you require an investment in time, that's what privates are for. Respect people's time. I see people going up to teachers after a class and talking to them for 30 minutes like somehow that's ok. It's not. Even though they look happy to do it, they have things to do just like anyone else.

If you end up looking for a B vitamin complex, I have really like this chewable option on Amazon. It's a strong enough does that you can get away with just 1 per day, which comes out to about $6/mo.

Also remember that there are a variety of different B-vitamins your body needs that can come from carby sources generally. Here's [a pretty cheap one] (https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-B-100-50tablets/dp/B004TTYYSC) that can be helpful.
