225$ is the most reasonable price I've seen it at, usually it sits at around 1,125$, even on eBay (current most expensive is 5k).
The instructions were only reprinted last year in a Japanese only Book, bringing the price down.
I would imagine the coloring book is expensive for a similar reason, limited run, niche market, and some asshats actually color it in.
