I was actually going to write a post sharing my favorites, but I just hadn't gotten around to it yet!
I have this support belt and it is awesome. I had a wimpier one in my first pregnancy and it was definitely inferior. I think starting with the support early helps reduce problems later.
I also got the pregnancy support tank and it is great. It's not hardcore, but it is really nice support. Good for wearing all day. I was interested in this one too, but it only goes up to a size large, and I needed an XL. But I like the cut of it.

I couldn't do without my baby sling. Actually it ended up being my husband who used it most. If you can, get sleep sense. It is really easy to read and provided us with valuable advice. It explains how long baby should be awake for depending on how old they are as well as tips for getting baby to sleep. A white noise machine is also brilliant. It helps block out the noises outside of the nursery so that baby doesn't get woken up. A baby monitor, once baby is asleep you are going to want to check up on him constantly. This helps ease your fears.

For yourself, nipple cream and comfy pyjamas. Preferably with a button up top so that you can breastfeed easily.
Yes, seriously, it's not a fun stage and it's also a looong stage. If the weather was nicer I'd let my daughter run free in the backyard, which surprisingly, is a lot safer than inside the house.
My first was a boy too, but I do have 3 little sisters, so I was prepared for a hair challenge. My nanny also bought my daughter some small soft pony tail holders and simply puts her bangs into a stand up pony tail right in the middle of her head. It's silly but adorable and actually works better than my headband method.
I know! :( I wish I had better advice, but mine was so related to the heat!
I think it also helped when I was able to walk around during the day - I sit at a desk all day long at work, so I started making sure I got up at least once an hour to get water or use the bathroom or just go for a short walk, and it helped a lot.
These are the compression socks I bought for myself. They're comfortable enough, though I don't know if they really helped my swelling. I stopped being able to wear them pretty quickly because I got so big that I had a hard time bending enough to get them on (they're tight!)
Edit to add: The socks were also good at not overheating my feet! I wore them mostly during July/August and I was worried they'd make my feet super hot (I hate when my feet are hot, makes my whole body uncomfortable!) and they actually breathed well and kept me from overheating while I was wearing them.
I made it through one session of prenatal yoga. It would have been less but I couldn't think of a graceful exit other than jumping up and running when she said "let's begin with 5 minutes of silent meditation." Since then I've been sticking with Pilates, light weights/circuit training, and very occasional lap swimming. Was curious about water aerobics as well but haven't found the time. With regard to worrying about going to the gym and taking it easy, I've found this book http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1936374331 to be very reassuring (short version: slow down when you feel you need it, but moderate to even intense exercise has tons of benefits and very little risk.)
I bought mine on Amazon, Goddess is a really great bra for women with Larger breasts. This only starts at 38 DDD so I'm not sure it will work but I cannot recommend this enough. I went up 1 size larger than I normal wear and It's been wonderful. It's ugly but soooo comfortable!!

I have one in black and one in white. They are definitely awesome. Those combined with these pant extenders have kept me in my regular pants throughout the pregnancy. There were a couple I had to give up because they were to tight in the butt/hips but I wear nothing but normal pants and one pair of maternity jeans :)
Ginger really is pretty good for nausea. BUT, ginger ale has very little or no real ginger in it. It's no better than sprite. Ginger beer (it's non-alcoholic) will work well though. You can find it at fancier grocery stores. I also used a lot of chewy ginger candy (gin gins) and a hot ginger drink (ginger honey crystals). Warning, these are all very spicy because they have a high concentration of real ginger.
That being said, there's no shame in getting anti-nausea medication either. D what works for you.
