I personally use the PS4 controller, but seeing how that is not something you want to use, I would recommend just picking up a cheap official wired xbox 360 controller. It works by default with most controller supported games and really is just great. Alternatively, if you really want a good PC controller, I reccomend the Logitech F310 other than the Dpad, I've had only good experiences with this relatively cheap controller. It works with most games out of the box as well. Hope this helped.

Maybe Afterglow Wireless Controller?
Thank you, I might give a try to the F510, but just watching the shape it reminds me of some bad habits I took with the PS2 ones, the ZD-V+ seems to be quite plasticky and there was someone whinning about dead triggers, I've also found the GameSir G3w (and a bunch of rebrands of it) wich apparently can be toggled by long pressing the home button, I wouldn't recomend the wireless version of these as they seem to have serious connection problems.
I have also found a bunch of crappy defective controllers on Amazon but I just don't want to waste my money on those.
