Works good for me. One hand on the wheel and one on a mouse to look, turn signals, cruise control as well being a naga I can set the number to other things like lights, wipers, map controls etc...

What wheel are you looking at that costs $400?.
For $400 I could gt a track IR and a wheel and still have some money left over.
Might as well pickup a wired 360 controller, since its plug and play and works with lots of pc games (ETS2 included). I started out using KB/M, went to my wired 360 controller and now I have a track IR, G27 and a Obutto Ozone.
You don't need to have a wheel to play ETS2, but it sure makes the game way more fun/immersive to physically row through gears, use the clutch and work the wheel.
When I bought this it was only around $30. I'm not sure why the price has gone up so much, it's a pretty simple wheel but I've had a good experience with it.
The cheapest would be a Xbox controller. But the Logitech G27 and TrackIr would be the best.
