I did the roof rack and cargo basket install myself, maybe took 2-3 hours the first time with help. Instructions make it very easy. The parts are below, you can check my post history to see a few other posts where I showed it off.

I originally put it at the front of the rails, but moved it to the back to see if it helped my MPG. That being said, I've lost 1-2MPG for obvious cargo basket reasons, but I still love the thing. The wind noise isn't that bad but it's slightly noticable. I've seen some cooler looking, more "low profile" baskets that look nice, but I'm fine with the Yakima.

Rack: Yakima Whispbar (Size: S46) http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BFN5EO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I have the same color, and LOVE the Jet Set Blue!

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W2O5YW6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Because I do something weird. I always buy Diet Dr Pepper when it's on sale, and keep a few 12 packs in the back. On the base carpet they slid around like CRAZY, even on mild turns. Actually one busted open because of it. That specific mat is perfect, and holds everything still no matter how aggressive I drive.

I'm a smoker, and crack the window a lot. Even in a light drizzle the rain drips in really bad if the window is cracked down. I bought these: https://www.autozone.com/vent-visors-bug-deflectors-and-truck-cover/side-window-deflector?filterByKeyWord=94368&fromString=search&isIgnoreVehicle=false&isSearchByPartNumber=true installing only the front doors. They look good, are amazing at stopping rain, and make no difference in wind noise even at 70 MPH.

Have fun, let us know how she treats you!

First off get a 27mm socket for the oil filter cap. I thought I had one that could fit before I started mine but didn't. The oil is kinda hard to find since it needs 5w-40, I ordered some on amazon: Liqui Moly 2041 Premium 5W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil - 5 Liter Jug https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005H2SHS8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_XlS3xbZ5QE743. The rest isn't too hard, you need to remove the engine cover to give you more working room. To remove the engine cover remove the 2 bolts in top and their is a spot near the rear that just requires a good pull to pop the cover off. I didn't even jack up my Jeep to drain the oil, I think the oil plug was a 13mm, I don't recall but its nothing fancy. The oil filter cap is rather inconvenient to get to but if you have a long socket extension it helps.

I don't have a spare tire in my Renegade so I took off the false floor in the back, and the thin layer above the styrofoam you're talking about, as well as all the styrofoam and stuffed this guy in between the peg that's there to hold the spare tire in place and the curved wall of the tire well. The floor panel fits flush on top of it. You can't even tell the sub is in there if the stereo is off. Sounds great too.

Thanks! I started off with Mother's California Gold clay bar and waxed with Meguiers Ultimate Liquid Wax.

Honestly I'm not sure when the scratches came out. I didn't notice them after I used the clay bar, but I didn't think to actually look for them. Definitely not visible after the wax, though!

I have these and just installed them last night. A little loud at highway speed, even without the kayak on, but that's expected. So far I'm happy with them!

No problem! I bought these and they fit great: ROLA 59834 Removable Anchor Point Extended APE Series Roof Rack for Mazda 5, Mitsubishi Outlander, Lancer https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B004R2Y64S/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Bd9RDbXPDY5DY
I followed the instructions from another post on here. Can't find it right now but it's pretty straightforward

So far, so good with this stuff:

Lexol E301126000 Vinylex Protectant, 16.9 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KKHS8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zpVtDbZK101WC

Use it on all our cars, best thing I've found for all the black plastic bits.

This is the one I have, it comes with both the window suction cup and vent clip, I love it so far.

Allen Sports Deluxe 2-Bike Trunk... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TRTSAZM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Is this what you mean? I got this a few years ago and I love it. Super simple to put on and take off, the hooks don’t damage the paint at all as long as it’s installed correctly and it’s very easy to put two bikes on it. I was initially worried about the “spoiler” of the Renegade getting bent awkwardly with this but it’s sturdy enough that it can take the weight.

I have these on my 2015 sport stock. Not sure if they are good for the 2018's.

For sunglasses, I just use ONE OF THESE on my passenger side visor.

I just recently purchased THIS for my phone and it works well. Simple 3M tape (provided) underneath keeps it snug.

*edit: forgot to include that I also carry an e-cig in something similar to this... https://www.amazon.com/PAVONI-Pocket-Phone-Holder-DriverPockets/dp/B01EDLNY0O/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1501041961&sr=8-6&keywords=air+vent+sunglasses

Mini, and no. I know the difference between mini and micro.

Buy this and you'll be more than covered:

Also, a 3" extension cable can't hurt, too, if it ends up a bit tight back there. For that, usb-a female to usb-a male, of course. It's not NEEDED but I ended up running an extra USB extension cable just in case, and it helped with that.

Another edit. Here's a photo, just because that other guy was giving misinformation, and hopefully no one will get fucked over from it:http://i.imgur.com/36GhTwk.jpg
