If the black Keyblade is metal/sturdy and looks accurate and detailed, I'd say it would probably be a good deal.

Nabbed these links from Amazon as well. Generally, when I think of gifts from games/anime/all that jazz, I tend to lean towards plushies. I also don't know which games she's played, so I just went with more iconic characters/enemies. You could also look at figurines, but they can be pricey so I didn't include them in the list.

Fairly cheap options:

• KH Manga (the ones with release dates before 2013 are a different publisher and not as nice quality, if that matters to you), or the art book
  
• Play Arts Kairi is still pretty cheap. (Some of the others might still be available for decent prices, I'm not sure)
  
• Some of the avatar mascot straps are okay priced.
  
• Formation Arts: Kairi, Twilight Thorn, there are some more on the search that are under $30
  
• There's some probably less-than-legit stuff on Amazon, too, if you're okay with that: necklaces, keyblade necklace sets, plushes, decals
  
• You could also check out Etsy if you want to send something custom; "paopu" or "wayfinder" are also good search options if you go that route.
  
• At the Square Enix event the other day, the price list included some official Keyblade keychains for $20 (Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, Rainfell, Wayward Wind, Earthshaker) but for the life of me I don't know where you could find those online.
  
  Seconding that keyblade necklaces are a cute gift for pretty cheap, though (there are a bunch of different sets of them available and I'm sure they're all bootlegs, but hey, so are the ones I've had for seven years and they're still cute).

It's way more than you want, but I can totally recommend this. It a 9 CD set with all soundtracks from KH 1, 2 and Re:Chain of Memories. There are some unreleased tracks from KH 1 and 2 including the Final Mix+ Tracks.

The tracks are from the japanese version of the games, but there is not much difference. I own this collection myself and got it for about 130 €. Maybe there are better deals out there than amazon.com.

The Door at the end of the game, after you beat Ansem, was not Kingdom Hearts. It was the Door to Darkness. Only beings of darkness can pass through it, and it led to the Realm of Darkness, thus the heartless. Riku and King Mickey are beings of light, so they can't pass through. Kingdom Hearts was inside the door, but it was a fake Kingdom Hearts created by the worlds lost to darkness. It dissipated into light after you defeated Ansem.

Sora chose not to go with Kairi because he wanted to search for Riku. The mural has no significance other than to hide the Navi-G piece inside. Kiari's heart went inside Sora's in this scene (When Destiny Islands fell to the darkness)

I recommend you play Chain of Memories before KH2, or at least watch the cutscenes.

1. Downloaded ppsspp
   
2. Obtained a BBSFM .iso file.
   
3. Bought an adapter such as this one on amazon (note it only works for ps2, xbox, and GC controllers but im sure there's a ps3 one out there somewhere).
   
4. Loaded up the iso with the emulator, set the graphics to 5x native and 3x resolution so I could play in HD.
   
5. Most enjoyable BBS run to date! Made critical mode so much easier with the controller.

It's not. It's from a Men's Adventure story. Used in this collection you can buy on Amazon too. Roland didn't have a club in Drawing of the Three.

These are the legitimate discs, the KH1 soundtrack was officially released in the US, however I don't think the KH2 soundtrack was released in the US.

The red one (was) also slightly cheaper on amazon. But now black is $0.65 cheaper. Pink is still the cheapest by $0.16 below black.

Edit: I'm not sure when red became more expensive than black.

As far as I know, the Nobody plush is almost impossible to find. It turns up on ebay occasionally for crazy prices, so keep your eyes open! As for the Wandanyan, I found one here on Amazon. There also appears to be another, unofficial version of the same plush for sale also through Amazon for around $16, not sure how set you are on having the official merch!
