Random House Books for Young Readers
My daughter got one of those when Brave was really popular, and it too was a pretty big disappointment, but she was super excited about the toys so I guess it was good enough. Maybe get her a book and give her the toys, too?
You probably aren't going to find a huge selection of books for her, but I did find this one on Amazon. It's 32 pages, but it's only a level one reader, which means it's good for Kindergarten age. There are a couple others on Amazon, but they're much longer (150 pages I think?) and I couldn't tell if they were print on demand or kindle only or what.
All spiders can fly.
They just hide the ability really well. They can also fit through tiny tiny places.
Oh, have you read This Book is Full of Spiders? It's a great book, it contains spiders that normal people can not see. And take over your body by crawling into your mouth and replacing your tongue. It's really cool.
I saw Deadpool with my mom and me. That's technically one of the families I belong to, parents being divorced and all.
I loved it, but it wasn't the absolute best. Pretty far up there though.
I don't know any writers.
Nice try, police!
My favorite color is green, but I love to wear blue.
My favorite gun is a finger gun. I can take it anywhere and it's not deadly!
Don't really know...
I had an instant breakfast drink (basically chocolate milk with vitamins and stuff added)
I think the most recent is "How to remove clothes in Photoshop". It's not as perverted as it sounds, I wanted to get rid of the suspenders someone was wearing. They had a T-shirt clearly visible underneath, but I couldn't just retake the photo.
Murder them all! A dead employee cannot tell secrets.
Unicorns
Assembly Language for x86 Processors (7th Edition)
When the three pony tribes allied together to form Equestria, they along with Starswirl the Bearded basically voted to have Celestia/Luna represent Equestria as its guardians and diplomats, because as alicorns they represented all three pony tribes.
In the beginning the three pony tribes kept their sovereignty. Equestria was more of a confederacy of states rather than a unified kingdom. Celestia/Luna mostly fought off monsters and acted as diplomats to the griffons on behalf of Equestria, but they still had to respect Princess Platinum/her father, Commander Hurricane and chancellor Puddunghead as the real rulers.

I'm guessing after a while Equestria slowly but surely became more centralized as Celestia and Luna took more and more power under their iron hooves.
Sounds like a plan! I can't remember what got me hookedon reading. It may have been the Percy Jackson series that make me looove books.
And if you haven't read it, I highly recommend Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. Greatr ead. Currently my favorite book.
Well the Elements of Harmony goes up to like, Season 3. And then there's Elements of Harmony, Vol II which is Season 4-6, so it doesn't include the current Season 7. Both of those are apparently available as a Kindle ebook.
But uh, yeah. Have you watched the show?
Decided to try reading this book from the library, because it looked like it might be neat. So far it's not grabbing me but I'll give it another chance tomorrow.
3 books for the summer:
... Aw I'm a nerd!
I've been slowly working my way back through this book to make sure I still remember everything. They have a newer edition out for it, so get that if you decide to pick it up. It's not a light read, and assumes you already know a fair bit about C, but it teaches things that are crucial to practical programming.
As for GTK+, there aren't too many good books on it unfortunately - at least that I've seen yet. I picked up a "Foundations of GTK+ development" book when I first started learning it. It gets you going, but leaves out a lot of what I would consider important details for more advanced things. For example printing is only very breifly covered. If there's one thing users are going to want it's printing support..
I've never been able to pick a best anything, but here are a few of my favorites where "respectable literature" is concerned:
Yeahnotreally.
They got this book while you were away, didn't they?
