I've used these for two years now and they are awesome! I know they are not in ear headphones but you should check them out. I recommend them to all my friends, and check out the reviews on amazon. As a bonus they have a microphone on them for taking phone calls. They also work great as my headphones for gaming. Just an all around good headphone in your price range. They are pretty comfortable as well, I wear them while running at the gym with no problems.

Definitely, for years I had the Etymotic pair I put below and had zero complaints about them. Recently I switched to the pair of Alpines I put below based off of a lot of positive recommendations and while the sound quality is definitely superior they are a bit hard to get in your ear. Your other option is to just buy the cheap one time use ones you can get in multipacks from CVS or any other drug store which might be a good place to start if you've never used them before. Hope this helps!

Get an Audio Technica AT-LP60 + an amplifier + speakers + speaker wire. That's what I have and it cost me less than $180. Here's the Amazon links for everything I have:

Record player

Speakers

Pre-amp

Speaker wire

STAY AWAY FROM CROSLEYS OR ANYTHING WITH BUILT IN SPEAKERS. DO NOT BUY A RECORD PLAYER UNDER $80. IT'S WORTH IT TO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET A SETUP THAT WILL SOUND NICE AND WON'T DESTROY YOUR RECORDS. Can't stress that enough.

Alpine Hearing Protection MusicSafe Classic Earplugs for Musicians https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0032BYCWG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2V0jybQ7P7Q16

I saw these on the last earplug thread and got them. I'm very happy with these. I wore these earplugs for the first time at the Aggressive Tour last month and the music sounded better with them on. I'm never going to a show without these now.
They stayed in even when I was in the pit or jumping

i get these ones from work, manufacturing engineer, and i pull the cord off of them and they work well because i can adjust them if i want it louder or quieter. I often grab an extra pair if i have friends coming to shows with me, because they often don't think about earplugs.

logic for tracking. superior drummer to program drums (this is pretty much industry standard now).

get this pod studio. it'll come with tones that people generally use and there are plenty of metalcore tones you can find online. no need for and pedals or anything.

I use these. I got them a while ago on black friday and they've lasted me forever and sound great.

They actually released an EP before Sleepwalking. Incidentally, this EP might be my favorite debut by a band.

I've used these for about four/five years now, and they are fantastic. Granted I haven't had the same pair, they probably last me about eight/nine months of heavy useage, but the sound quality is fantastic and I have no problems paying £15 each time I manage to break them.

I personally don't like the lyrical content of some bands. So I don't listen to them. Sometimes their lyrics don't blend well to metalcore, either.

If you want to hear an album that is Christian where the lyrics fit very well with the genre, try an oldie: Zao - Where Blood & Fire Bring Rest

I've bought these earbuds twice now and I love them. Heavy bass but its not overpowering, everything sounds crystal clear. The only reason I had to re-buy them is because I stepped on my last pair and broke them. Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking or, but these are my suggestions for cheap earbuds.

Either my LG wireless headphones (for the gym) or my sol republic tracks (for everyday jamming).

Ahhh m30. I'm using the m50s but I had the same problem. I don't mean a big thing like that reciever, I mean a headphone amp with a bass booster function. This is what I use:

I've been going to concerts for almost 10 years now and I only recently started wearing them after reading a post from a guy who developed tinnitus. The music does not sound that bad with them in and it actually feels nice to go home and not have your ears ringing and sore at the end of the night. You can also purchase high to low end quality earplugs that are made to specifically block out the damaging volume for musicians and concerts. I just use regular rubber ones though that are reusable and they work for me
