I designed [this bracket](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bfBfz0Spgq8-v7-usb-bracket) that one of my friends cut from 3/16" aluminum. I installed the GuzziTech headlight bracket awhile back to lower the headlight and flatten the gauges. It leaves a bit of extra space between the gauges and the triple clamp so this is designed to fit in that space.

[This is BMW plug](https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/detail/bmw/83300402344/b2588572) from BikeBandit.

[This is the USB plug](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTZ89NH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) from Amazon.

All I did was crimp some female blade connectors onto the BMW plug (plus heatshrink and sleeved the wires). Used some spare parts for bolts/nuts/washers/spacers. And I used an old bicycle tire over the bottom to cover the electrical bits from the weather a little more.

One thing to note is that the volt meter isn't going to show "static" battery voltage because it comes on with the key with the headlight, taillight, and other things. It is useful for seeing the charging voltage though. I ran a separate (3') SAE cable up to the front to use for maintenance charging + checking voltage with the bike off.

Hope that helps!

Aerostich makes a product that is a set of wrap-around-the-grips heater. They work ok, but like anything, they are a compromise.

The up side is you don't need to change grips and you only put them on the bike when you need them. No need for running extra wires, and if they break, it is not a big deal and you are out no time or effort.

The downside is you loose feedback from the handlebars. And the grips get a little too large diameter for me. But I like hard grips, I'll admit.

For me, they are cheap enough, and work well enough, that I use them.

Whoops- never mind- I don't see them on aerostich. This is about what I am thinking though-

I have heated gloves as well. Not sure which I dislike less. I don't like the feel of big fat winter gloves either.

I have this one on my bike. I have an engine guard, and it was suggested to me that I put it there, but my helmet was very close to exhaust pipes. So I ended up attaching it to my handlebars pics
