Sadly you have a direct voltage / line voltage setup (240V). You'd insta-fry your Nest with this.

The best you can get (I've been in your situation before) are these: https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TL8230A1003-Line-Thermostat-Programmble/dp/B0016J2CYQ/r

Which still make a huge difference, cost savings wise, to what you have.

The other answers here are incomplete. According to the Nest website, you need:

"Nest Hello needs to be powered by wires delivering 16- 24 VAC, and at least 10 VA. There are a few ways to check the voltage:"

You need to check your transformer again and make sure it says it provide at least 10 VA. If it doesn't say, then it may or may not work. I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PO7MY2/

It has the required voltages (16 and 24) and power output (20 VA). My original transformer was only good for 5 VA.

Yes, that zone board is a problem. Only a few thermostats work with it so best to swap it out. Note the second thermostat should not need O and B so you can replace that one as is.

Since it is winter season what you can do for now is disconnect the O and B at the main thermostat and then put a jumper wire between B and R at the SWZ board. That should let you install the Nests and get most of the fun.

I would recommend a Honeywell zone controller as they have a longer track record: https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HZ311-TrueZONE-Panel/dp/B001GLYC8S

I think yes and here's why: Amazon won't sell Google/nest home devices because it competes with Echo/Alexa devices. So Amazon will not be carrying the nest wifi points. Google created an Amazon only bundle pack of 2 nest routers.

It would be really strange of Google to do that then say no, they're independent of each other and don't actually function as a mesh system.

I got a 24v, mainly because I have an older home and this had the best reviews for non-grounded. I've had good performance and no complaints, I say get the 24v to future proof yourself.

Something like this should work. Similar or the same to what was installed at my house.

Broan BK125LWH NuTone Chime Kit (2 Lighted Push-Buttons, 1 Transformer) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VH5ILI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Gp-0AbH2VDCZN

I've found the Nest to be off 1.5-2 degrees. I also feel like this sense settings kind of suck. This temperature band Nest talks about is just non-sense.

Get one of these to test your theory. Set it on top the Nest for a day or two.

I've elected to turn off all the "smart stuff" and only use my own schedule.

You can use any standard 1/4" camera mount. There's not really any shortage of options and styles.

I added a C wire (using the excellent Fast-Stat CommonMaker) after receiving the E195 error but continued to see the error. It's important to note that I was reading a solid 24 v on the R wire at this point. I then learned, after extensive research, that the transformer on my boiler was not sufficient to power both my boiler electronics and the Nest. So I then purchased an external transformer and wired that into the CommonMaker in my furnace room and voila - problem solved.

If the voltage is good, then no you don't need to find it. However, it would annoy the heck out of me to have this mystery. You can use a wire tracer to check around the basement (see link below). Or look at the wire colors and see if you can see the same wire snaking around the panel area.

I got this error a couple of times and it was because the fuse cartridges blew. This happens when the fuse box overheats probably due to a bad wiring connection.

Open up the fuse box and take the cartridges to Home Depot/Lowes and get replacements. Replacing them should restore your heat. If you get the e74 error again in a short amount of time, you probably have to get an electrician to replace the fuse box entirely.
