I use those \^\^\^ they are awesome and I can wear them for like 6-8 classes back to back and they do not make my ears sore!!! I have pretty sensitive ears too so this is a big deal! I was wearing a really expensive pair of gaming turtle beach gaming headphones and they ended up killing my ears! These were like $19 used like new! And the microphone is SO much clearer and noise canceling!
You need something that can run Skype, and can download those 3rd party applications. A Chromebook won't work. I would know. I have one. Amazon sells cheap refurbished computers. Get one with 8 gig ram. I recommend this headset.

I don't have experience with Magic Ears, however I have heard that USB ethernet adapters work fairly well in those situations. If you have USB-C, that would be the best option but USB 3 should work just fine too.

There are some that can last several hours. I bought one just in case - I don't take the risk and just have everything lined up.

I'm obssesed with this headset. Comfortable and super affordable. I had a problem with my students hearing my furnace. So we'd just turn off heat while I'm working. Which sucked. Now they can't hear my furnace at all. And it's only focused on my voice.
