This is admittedly copied and pasted from a very similar offer. I'm posting between classes, so little time and there seems to be a time limit. I'm teaching summer classes at the moment. I'm working in rural Korea as an English teacher, which has very different requirements from working as a UK teacher, as you may gather from my wish.

While I'm tempted to repeat my request for a game which I'd really love and would keep me entertained for hours, as the prequel did or ask for decent candy/a food package since some things are hard to get here, I'll request something more worthwhile to my future, as I get the feeling that it's this subreddit is more about.

I could use any of these books. I want to do teacher training for primary (elementary) school in the future and these would help me succeed. Used is fine. Some of them aren't too expensive, but the main problem is delivery. The books are from England (and for the English educational system). I live in South Korea.

If delivery is too expensive/not possible, but you choose me, you could have them delivered to my family in England and I could ask for them to be sent to me by my family for Christmas.

While I doubt I've won (I'm guessing the people who got follow up replies or comments stand a higher chance) I'm finished teaching, so I can add a bit more.

The books I've requested are to help me study for, get into and to eventually get through a postgraduate in Education. I work abroad in a country where the currency doesn't translate to much when I bring it back home, so money can be tight as I have to save most of it for the course costs and other related costs to eventually do it. Most of the books are ones to learn about teaching skills - something I know about somewhat because I teach now, but some are more specific to Primary schools in England and the course. I've also included a mathematics study book, since I'd like to brush up on some of the later concepts. It's been about ten years since I took a mathematics course and I've done some study online, but it seems more helpful to have a book which covers everything on the test.

These are sort of simple pleasures, but I woke up for the first time in two months not in pain from a rheumatoid flare up, and next to someone I love in a house that I can call my own. The sun is shining, it's spring, and my puppy is dozing at my feet. I don't have much, but I'm grateful for what I have.

My boyfriend came back from the c-stop shop with a small surprise. Earlier we had been talking about Doritos (he works at Taco Bell) and I mentioned that my favorite were Cool Ranch. Typically, he's pretty absentminded so I never expected him to remember that, but he brought a bag home with some Vanilla Cokes, which are my favorite soda as well. It was just a really sweet gesture after a super busy day of work.

This book on Sacred Geometry would be a real treat as well!

One of these following 3 books would be lovely, just one would be greatly appreciated. My fiance just found out he is diabetic and it would be nice to find some pleasant treats to cook for him. He's pretty bummed about it and I would love to cook him something that would be good for him but also cheer him up.

For my depression I like to play the violin. I played a lot growing up and just recently picked it back up.

Something about the sound and the dedication just seems to pull the sadness out is a beautiful way that I feel cleansed afterwards.

Usually my money goes to our family and the kids but I would love to have Sheet Music to practice with.

So my son turns one on Dec 17 and is going to have a Star Wars themed birthday.. We are going to try and get his birthday presents seperate from his Christmas present but we will see how the money goes. It would be awesome if he could get a bunch of educational and coordination toys.. with some Star Wars ships for his birthday!! Hes also starting to walk so hed love walking stuff!

Captain Underpants And The Preposterous Plight Of The Purple Potty People

It's for an elementary school library; you'd be shipping directly to the school (via this wish list or I can give you the school address, etc.).

I run a 'free bookstore' at the Title I (low income) school with books bought from yard sales. The librarian regularly asks if I have a copy of this or that for the library, which I can usually oblige... the library's operating budget is $0, and has been for more than a decade.

There's a student with special needs who is reading the series and wants to read this book, and asks the librarian daily for it. I do mean daily, as he has little understanding of social dynamics. Or, you could say he's an eternal optimist.

Book #1 in the series is all too common at yard sales, but it could be a year or more before I come across #8 in the series (the Purple Potty People).

25 copies of the book Dogs Don't Tell Jokes. When I was in 5th grade, it was my absolute favorite book. Now that I am a 5th grade teacher, I want to read it with my class, and there were huge school budget cuts this year, blah, blah. I don't have the extra $176, and school finances are on a freeze. I just want to share this book with my students this year and for years to come.

Would you be interested in William Gibson's Neuromancer? I have the paperback that I'm sure I'll never read. Let me know!
