This is the case I bought except mine is in black, which doesn't appear to be available anymore (might just be currently sold out). I'm super happy with it, it covers very little and is super slim. Works for me because I'm not so concerned about protecting it from drops but I just wanted something to make it easier to hold onto (slipperiest phone I've ever had!). It is ever-so-slightly rubberized.

I got this one off amazon for ~$3 for the time being. There really isn't much available right now but I did find these in case-mate, which I think are the nicest at the moement. Hope this helped.

I just received these two items:

Tempered Glass:
Supershieldz for Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Tempered Glass Screen Protector, [Full Screen Coverage][3D Curved Glass] Anti-Scratch, Bubble Free, Lifetime Replacement Warranty (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C3LNLLR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dPKYBbWMJ8W2T

Thin and sleek case:
B BELK Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Case, Ultra Slim Thin Snug-Fit Scratch Resistant Premium PC Hard Protective Cover with Matte Finish Coating for Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B9WNF9Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0PKYBb5C6W6W9

Honestly, this is the best combo. Thinest profile case. The tempered glass covers the logo on the front and the case covers the "Xperia" brand in the back. It makes the phone very discrete, yet sleek. Alternatively, if you are a rough and tumble guy/girl, I would pick up the Spigen rugged case (see below).

Spigen Rugged Armor Xperia XZ2 Compact Case with Flexible and Durable Shock Absorption with Carbon Fiber Design for Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (2018) - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B9VNVG8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.SKYBbY92A1F1

The max size would be 128gb. I would recommend getting something that is rated CL10.

I have this and it works perfectly. I've heard to stay away from Sandisk as well.

Is this the black one you got: http://www.amazon.com/Xperia-Terrapin-Black-Premium-Protective/dp/B00MN2FHMY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1415238411&sr=8-2&keywords=sony+xperia+z3+case

I just ordered the one at the link. Looks nice enough. I just want something until a more secure case that looks good from trident, otterbox, or other manufacturer is released.

There are plenty of gel cases around for it, but all of them that I've tried screw up the button feel. Compare and contrast that with the very first cheapo gel case I got for my XS, which has a thinned-out moulding around each button which allows the buttons to still feel crisp - I just haven't been able to find anything like that for the XZ2C.

There is a hardshell case that I bought - I think it's this one - that has "hinged" cutouts for the buttons and therefore more or less preserves the original feel. The downside is that part of the button areas are open. Nevertheless this is the one I'm using since there's no guesswork when it comes to button operation, especially the camera.

Screen protector - I think the problem with most of the Compact cases is that there's no standoff distance on the front of the cases to actually make a screen protector truly useful, and all the glass screen protectors I've been able to get hold of don't actually fully / properly cover the curved screen. I've applied the best one I got, but I'm still not happy with it.

I'm using a glass screen protector and I love it. No sure if I want to bother getting a case, because I usually like having my phone naked.

When in doubt, check out each seller's ratings:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0171GYNGW/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

You also have the backing of Amazon even when ordering from third party sellers. I've ordered unlocked phones on eBay from sellers in Taiwan and Hong Kong without an issue. Just check their ratings and see how trustworthy they are.

Thank you, just confirming will this be able to fit into my z3? because from the pictures shown it seems abit too big

I have this one

The only problem I've had with it is that sometimes I press the power button instead of the volumes because it doesn't feel distinguished enough but otherwise it's perfect. Will be keeping for awhile.

Transfering apps is just like any other Android. Storage, Apps, select the app and then transfer; not all apps will transfer. 64gb of interal should be more than enough though. Just store images and videos on SD, just make sure to get the right class so your can write 4K video straight to the SD.

I just use a sleeve from Fitbag, get them on Amazon probably not for everyone, but I'm not a fan of traditional cases. I may get a clear case something like this. Problem with curved screens is that they don't have glass screen protectors that will cover the whole glass and I don't like the feel for the plastic screen protectors.

Any other questions just ask

What's up with these expensive headphones? Is it a style thing, or what exactly. I mean it doesn't even have a mic for smartphones (I realize it may not be intended for that use specifically) and if you are buying that it should come with all the bells and whistles ear buds have to offer..unless buying earbuds is like buying cool shoes.

I've been burning through cases looking for my ideal one for my XZP (i don't bother with screen protector though).

My favourites are the Nillkin (on order, I used on on my XZs) and the Spigen hybrid air-cushion (great protection but a little chunky, transparent so can see all the dirt gather lol, but is a really tight fit).

Nillkin https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xperia-Premium-Nillkin-Protector-Frosted-Black/dp/B072KK68L8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1505108110&sr=8-2&keywords=nillkin+xperia+xz+premium

Spigen https://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-Spigen-Cushion-Technology-Protection-Crystal-Clear/dp/B071VZ1176/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1505108178&sr=1-2&keywords=spigen+xz+premium

When I asked about the magnetic charging dock a little a while ago, someone pointed out these to me:

  • Magnetic USB Chord
  • Magnetic USB adapter

I bought the adapter for my Z1s, and it works pretty good. As the reviews note the magnets aren't particularly strong, but it works and is still less inconvenient than moving the flap every time IMO. The chord should work as well. In either case, it takes time for them to arrive at your house if you're in the US, bc they ship from China.

None. I use a short tether connected to a ring (sorry for Japanese link). When I'm walking around I slip the ring on, thus ensuring I never drop the phone, even if I "drop" it :D

No headphones with the z3, z3v, or z3c to my knowledge. I bought a cheap pair of skullcandy noise isolating headphones for $10 at Walmart. They work really well for exercising.

Yea now that you point that out, this case only 1/2 covers the corners from the face side, the one I had on my iphone 5 covered them completely
