I am not sure if you are State side but if you are here are your major options...

If your looking for either an ebook or paperback of the book: Amazon has both or GameStop has a physical copy for 3 extra dollars.

As for the comics, they are still in production and come out monthly usually on a Wednesday. They are currently up to issue 14, 15 will come out the beginning of April. You can either pick up every individual issue from a website like MyComicShop (I really like this website and use it for all the back issues and rare comics I can't find from my local shop) or a collection of issues 1-6 from the same site, the next collection 7-12 will be released in May. Amazon also has the individual comics, but are more expensive when it comes to individual issues. I bought them individually because I am both impatient and I really like hanging the issues on my wall because the covers are nice.

Otherwise you can go to a store like Barnes & Noble and they will have the book. Your local comic shop should also have either the individual issues or the trade paper back (collections)

That's OK! Yeah, I personally don't like the physics of "flowy" things in LAU on PC. (Lara's hair and parts of her outfit sometimes, such as her dress in Japan, will be "flowing" horizontally away from her body.) They play fine, that just irritates me to no end. LOL!

The first 4 games also have expansion packs, some free DLC that wind up as extra levels.

It'll create 2 separate EXEs, and you should play the games from those rather than Steam's default EXE.

TR3's expansion was marketed as a separate game called Tomb Raider: The Lost Artifact. Though it was never released digitally, unlike the previous two, The Lost Artifact can play without having to own the original disc. Tomb Raider 4's expansion is a single level called The Times: Exclusive Tomb Raider Level. It also plays without having the original disc, and is legally available for free. I should also let you know that Underworld has two expansion pack DLCs exclusive to Xbox 360 called "Beneath the Ashes", and "Lara's Shadow". You might want to YouTube these for story closure.

It looks like you get mailed all the collector's edition stuff, and inside the box is a piece of paper with a download code on it. Then they email you a code for the season pass after the game has launched (presumably within the first few days).
So you wouldn't be able to play the game until your collector's edition got there. And yes, the code will activate on Steam, judging from the Amazon (www.amazon.com/dp/B0147ET0ZA) page.

Cool idea. Does she have a quiver and arrows? If you can swing the expense, I think a climbing axe would really bring it all together. I checked Amazon, and sorting low to high, this is the cheapest one they have that looks close to the style used in the games.

It's the wrong color, but you could paint it. Some cheap rope and and a walkie talkie to go on a belt would be a nice touch as well.

I have both the Steam and the PSone versions for my PS Vita. The main drawbacks on the Vita is the lack of save options for TR1 and 3 (they are save crystal only) and the graphics are not as sharp. I've only played TR4 extensively on Steam and it never crashed, but there seems to be a bug that affects the lighting - it looks like there are no shadows. You'll notice a lack of dark spaces in the deep tomb levels, which seriously diminishes the atmosphere IMO. Aside from the drawbacks on Vita that I have listed, I really prefer those versions because they are so portable. Keep note that the L2 and R2 buttons are mapped to the rear touchpad and lack responsivity and you may want to get a Joetsu controller like this. I have one and I highly recommend it if you have a Vita.

EDIT: I'd go steam if I were you. They have all the games. In NA they only have TR1 to 4 on the PS Store. They don't have Chronicles nor Angel of Darkness.

I pretty much never pre-order games, but if I do, I do it through Amazon. Sometimes arrives a few days before official release, too.

Edit: It's not the same, sorry dude! Got confused for a sec. I think it might have sold out so quickly because less and less people are pre-ordering games or getting special editions, so less might have been made.

Sucks that they don't have the other things on pre-order right now, I want to see what that Gold edition has in detail (and the price).

Tomb Raider: Definitive edition is Xbox One only. It is an upgraded/enhanced version of the 360 game with all DLC, Outfits, and the goodies (Art Book, etc). You can get it on Amazon for $21.73. (which is very cheap)

The timid/definitive versions often include all DLC and extras for the same price. See Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition as an example:

You clearly dont know many modern crossbows They are small,some can be fitted to thigh holster,when compacted.

As for you first point, crafting it herself went out of way in the Very first game Where lara became a gun expert and could salvage, repair and cannabalize parts of guns to improve them ON THE FIELD.
