Everyone is saying the Logitech G502, and I could not agree more. I actually have 2 of them because I travel quite a bit for work. It has all the buttons you'll need right on the mouse to be an effective slayer of n00bs. It has a button which can select different DPI profiles which makes it easy to switch back-and-forth from Xbox to PC modes.

Keyboards can be subjective based on how you like your "finger feel" and noise level. For me, I cannot say enough good things about the Logitech G13 gaming pad (and holy balls I just realized how expensive it is, I don't think they make these anymore. Check on eBay for a cheaper price if interested). Buttons are right where they need to be, and it has nice ergonomic support for your wrist - it's designed for gaming comfort, not cranking out emails. The keys are not too clicky, but also have a nice feel to them. Also included; buttons to quickly switch between gaming profiles. Handy if you need different button keymaps for various different games.

My main keyboard, which I've also tested for gaming and cannot say enough good things about, is the Logitech G513. It has a sleek, minimalist design and comes with wrist support. The keys are a bit louder than the G13, but they are easier to press. It also has a surprisingly sturdy frame. The weight of it surprised me during the unboxing. It was oddly satisfying to hold in my hands which gave the impression that it was well engineered and of good quality.

As for the XIM, I've been a non-commissioned sales rep for it since the XIM 3 was released. These guys keep making better products, and the XIM Apex is no exception. The key (in my humble opinion) to giving it that PC feel is to find the right ballistics curve. I've found one that works very well with every game I've played. If you want more details on it, send me a private message and I'll give you the code that you can paste right into the XIM app on your phone. Another tip to making your experience even better on the XIM is to set the Hz to 1000 in the XIM app, and also set your mouse to 12000 dpi. Again, if you want more information on how to do that, just send me a message. I take great joy in helping people maximize their experience with the XIM.

Last question, I promise:

Which do you think would be better? The wireless g602(is wireless even supported?) or wired g502. Both logitech.

I use this and it works really well.

I've used XIM since it's 2nd version and have yet to ever sit at a desk while using it.

Then again I don't use a KB either and instead use a Razer Orbweaver/Keypad so I don't have to have room for a large keyboard where I don't use over half the buttons.

Seriously though, I've used lap-boards with all of my XIM devices and have always played on my big screen TV from my couch (not that you can't do that from PC as well, but using a KB/M doesn't mean you have to sit at a desk)

That said, yes sometimes I don't feel like connecting everything and just use a controller.

I use one of these - Zeller Laptop Board, Black, 59 x 40 x... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008KZQQ5K?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Instead of a keyboard however, I use a Hori Tac Grip which is essentially half a Ps4 controller strapped to your wrist, works really well worth the Xim however.

Can I ask you another questions? Assuming I couldn't find any cheap enough wireless kb / mouse and decided to go with just standard wired things, Id need a USB extension cable between the Xim and the Hub. Do you have any idea if this cable would be good enough for that? (not talking about length, just the USB type / speed etc.)

I play in home theater recliners. I cut a 1x10 board to length and wrapped it in one of those XXL full desk mousepads. It staples right in and works great. My seat has armrests but if I was on a couch I would attach pads as legs to get the height right.

I had this issue with a Corsair K70, as well, had to get a powered USB hub. Fixed the issue immediately!

But the hyper cloud X2 is a wired headset..

Here is a link to the headset:

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset PC/PS4/Mac/Mobile, Red https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SAYCXWG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LwhlDb4VMN191

It comes with two parts, one part the headphone drive can go into a ps4 pad, but that can also connect in its mini amp which connects into the PS4 via usb and makes the sound much better and clearer.

So in simple terms:

Hyper X Cloud 2 + XIM APEX + Regular Dualshock 4 + Regular PS4 = No issues?

No, I don't mean using the micro usb cable. I mean truly wired, with the wire built in. https://www.amazon.com/Power-ProEX-Wired-Controller-Audio/dp/B01AA05G58
