Sorry, but your asking me to write a briefing of a book that has more that 2000 pages written in fine print, and english isn´t even my native language, so I suggest you to have a look at the Amazon store for the customer reviews, you can have a pretty good idea there of what is it about.
Also you can check out the Urantia Foundation´s web page for more info and also you can read it online there for free.

The book is named after Urantia, which is the real name of our planet, it is authored by celestial beings, each pertaining to different hierarchies of administrative orders of the universe, it was written by using a human contact personality who remains unknown to date. The first edition of the book was released in the year 1955.
In my personal case, I stumbled upon it after reading some other related books, nobody told me about it, it took me more than 4 years to complete mainly because it demands a LOT of attention and I read some other books in between, I must warn you: it is not an easy reading, but you don´t need to read it from start to end in that specifical order, you can just grab a chapter you´re interested in and just read it.
One of the main things that grabbed me to the book is that in no way it tries to convince you or to persuade you to join to any religion, it is a somewhat cold presentation of facts written in an extremely convincent fashion that you may take or leave based in your personal experience and mind aperture.

Well, I did my best, I hope it helps you!

Dude what is wrong with this person do they not know how to hold a camera? The thing wasn't moving erratically at all but it was like he was filing from a boat in rough seas. Super frustrating.

Despite the terrible camera work, super interesting. I am reading this book by Leslie Kean on UFOs. She interviews generals and air force pilots, police and other military personal who gives descriptions of UFOs they have no rational way of explaining. These people drew pictures of what they saw and a lot of those pictures kinda resemble whatever this was towards the end when it was multiple lights. I highly suggest everyone read her book. Here is link.

It was easy to verify. Sometimes it was correct, usually it was too vague and only made sense after the target was physically located. The best history of the programs—which moved from SRI to different military-intel agencies over two decades—written by a good political history journalist Howard Blum. It's called "Out There." https://www.amazon.com/Out-There-Governments-Secret-Extraterrestrials/dp/0671662600

The most interesting part is that their star psychic, who had been a secretary, had always said she was naturally psychic. This really PO'd the people who were claiming they could teach it to anyone. Apparently it was nearly impossible to "teach" it to people who didn't already have psychic/psi experieinces.

Granted I am a believer in the Psycho-Social Theory. So I'm bracing for downvotes.

But give it a chance because it is equally as interesting.

It is not mere debunking as it treats the subject with the respect it deserves but the conclusions are vastly different then the extraterrestrial hypothesis.

And if you want to debate its merits just send me a PM or something and we can talk about it.

u/imaginarywheel · 2 pointsr/aliens

This is a good place to start. Because of the effort to keep this information secret, the "facts" you're looking for don't exist (for extraterrestrials at least, the ufo phenomenon is heavily documented in declassified government documents around the world ). The best source of information on ETs right now is eye witness testimony.

edit: This is the information that several witnesses corroborate though I haven't read it.

I'll be honest, when I saw you contacted them I thought I'd hear another story involving shrooms, LSD or MDMA. After reading your experience, I found some eerie resemblances to a well-known channeler who speaks with a Zeta being regularly. Also, I've noticed a similar archetype with people reporting that they go through shapes before they make contact. Awesome stuff.

You should try meditating again. Then report back to us :D

I heard an interview with Dolores Cannon, several years ago about this subject. This book is an interesting read :)

"the aliens presented the concept of the earth as a cosmic zoo.

Such indoctrination serves to reduce our concepts of human sovereignty, as well as to bind us to them in a subservient position, as a possession. While some people accept this relationship as fact and thus allow that the aliens can legitimately do with us what they please, there are others of us who feel we possess an inherent sovereignty and right to exist without interference, no matter what our genesis. Their claims to be our creators have never been more than mere claims, anyway, unless there is proof somewhere."

I am saying that when you have fears, then you are only going to see what you fear in others.

As for "higher" or "lower" you are doing yourself a disservice with this view. There is only "different" and it is not good or bad. Our experience is different from that of a dogs or a cow or an alien. We may create judgements but they are always based on incomplete knowledge and beliefs.

As for "helping us" - some would say that exactly that is happening from "aliens incarnating into human bodies". But this also is not quite true. We are not human, we are spirit experiencing a human body. We may be living upon the earth now, but that may not have always been the case. For more you may want to take a look at some of the Dolores Cannon books, example: The three waves of volunteers

It's in my opinion the best abduction book I have ever read. Extremely convincing. Written by Budd Hopkins though

We have our own take on how crazy this is going to get here

u/jussumman · 3 pointsr/aliens

Even if they visit 1000 times in a set period, you're assuming in your hypothetical world view they are infallible or impervious to any outside condition or weapon that might bring them down. I would think they are like us, but thousands/millions of years advanced, but still would be a small percentage error prone or have some weakness.

According to one ex-employers story Robert Lazar claims they (the greys scout saucers at least) have to switch flight configurations once in a planet's atmosphere so get awkward moving around. Then the Pentagon has "Directed-energy weapons". That's all you need is those couple crashes, it's not that out there. These beings might far more advanced, yet not perfect in every way.

"Roswell" is just a slang term for the other crashes - Brazil [Varginha UFO incident] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varginha_UFO_incident)
Mexico The Chihuahua UFO Crash Canada Shag Harbour UFO incident are the real names.

Not a lot, a small percentage of accidents or more likely hits by specialized covert scaler weapons and recoveries. We know for fact that the black covert operations exist with bases and admitted trillion dollar budget goes into. This is reality. What do they do there? Sure there's man made tech. But if they had possession of ET tech also, that's where it would be. You choose not to believe some of the whistleblowers and some of us do.

If they did recover just a handful of these ET craft and bodies, it makes sense (especially during Cold War) that they would keep it secret and want to try to reverse engineer for "security" purposes. Or they just make money out of themselves thru working with private companies keep the trillion dollar operation going. If they committed murders to keep it secret, bypassed the constitution and illegal even more reason to maintain the secrecy. It makes sense and not improbable.

For intelligent life not to exist somewhere and not have visited Earth it is the highly more improbable worldview fantasy you live in.

Dr. John Mack was a Pulitzer Prize winning Harvard professor of psychology who began studying people who thought they were being abducted by aliens to see what the hell was wrong with them.

After researching them for a while, Dr. Mack concluded that they were not crazy and indeed were experiencing something unworldly. He believed them and gave them support - he was a Godsend to people who themselves thought they were mad suffering through experiences that nobody would believe. The support of a man of Dr. Mack's stature was heartening to these experiencers.

Professor Mack wrote a book, Abduction: Human Encounters With Aliens and became a high profile supporter of the 'Experiencers'. They tried and failed to have him thrown out of Harvard.

Dr. Mack was involved in the study of these 62 people and you can see him some of the videos.

I am not being sarcastic at all.

Here are some videos:

Sadly, like many who get too close to the truth while studying this phenomena, he was tragically killed in a freak accident (by a drunk driver) on the streets of London while walking to or from a conference.
