Not sure if you've had it but this is big in the south and I recently found that my Kroger up north carries it. It's great. Use the vinegar on things instead of hot sauce, when you're out of vinegar you can refill it again once. After that take the peppers out that are left and purée them and put them back in the jar. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000M0QWM8/ref=pd_aw_lpo_325_img_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=628XPZ1YN7PPAJC0B03Z

If you find yourself falling in love with the legal antics of the series, then be sure to order Saul's manifesto...

This has to be my favorite. Nothing beats watching a full episode though. They flow so well. The complete series isn't too expensive. Okay that got me re-watching more and here's another favorite.

This is what I have. Not sure what they're called other than "therapy lights." It seems to work if I lay directly in front of it with my shirt off for 30 minutes.

Wasn't sure if you could reach/access the outside of your window. There is also some peel & stick window tint available, I used it in an apartment when I was working a lot of night shifts.

I also don't use crappy floppy lab books like this; spending ~$30 on a hardcovered proper lab book like this is amazing.

Although these were all I used in grad school

And I kill these in about 3-4 months. But I tend to write my thoughts on approaching the problems, which tend to be a bit wordy. Also, analytical chemistry tends to have a lot of graph data and references I stick in my books too (which take up entire pages).

If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg for shipping to the US, here's a different choice:

Unfortunately, I prefer OPs styles, but figured I'd let others make that choice!

We just did. And now...? Cricket noises.

Listen, absolutely nothing is going to convince you this is real at this point. You've obviously got some kind of weird investment in your conspiracy theory. So I'm not here to change your mind. I'm here to watch a fascinating case study in Unpersuadables.

I don't think you're understanding this. Madoff didn't tell people it was a pyramid scheme. Jimmy either told his marks that they were scamming other people (the watch) or let them try to scam him (the coin, and the watch).

This is a great book about the classic cons. Or you can just watch the movie The Sting, which is built upon the same concept. Classic cons work because the victim thinks he's getting over. No one thought they were getting over on Madoff, they thought they were paying for a service.

Only the 12-step program focuses on total lifelong abstinence from alcohol (AA also doesn't have the greatest success rate). Most strictly medical evidence-based practices focus on abstinence during a treatment period--they need to stop killing themselves, give their body time to recover, and let their brain adjust to nondependency on alcohol again.

Actually, 12-step/AA methods have recently received a lot of criticism for being more based on faith than medical evidence.

The issue seems to be that some people may be genuinely permanently rewired as "alcoholics", others may be able to "rewire" back into a normal alcohol use configuration, and others were just problem drinkers and not really alcoholics at all (so they stop the abuse when the problem triggering it goes away).
