Slightly higher price but better color:

Mini Pirate Treasure Chests https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B042N7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LvDrxbZWA780E

Finally, might be too big but it's outer shape is perfect. From the two vehicle veneer on the front to the way the lid curves. Needs a paint job however.

Penn-Plax Treasure Chest - Mini https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002ATD3I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_KwDrxb35W132C

The plastic tooth pick idea for teeth should be prefect, if you had something like a soldering iron to touch them mid way so you can bend the teeth back. You can find a small chain somewhere and I'd even clear epoxy the chain in a position like the actual mimics. Post pics if you do build it and great idea!

>I cant really think of any show where there is such a parallelism with maneating goo. And i also made more connection than just that.

Really?

That and sometimes shape-shifting are basically the usual monster slime/ goo/ blob behaviour.

Examples:

  1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ooze_(Dungeons_%26_Dragons) (Go to the bottom in "Ooze Descritpions")
  2. https://www.amazon.com/Slime-William-Essex/dp/0843926406
  3. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051418/
  4. http://blazblue.wikia.com/wiki/Arakune
  5. https://youtu.be/86oNUhCyaDY?t=5s (Notice the first thing he says)
  6. https://youtu.be/ygre4gFvbec?t=6m24s (http://overlordmaruyama.wikia.com/wiki/Solution_Epsilon)
  7. https://youtu.be/3flXg0trkNg?t=11m30s
  8. https://youtu.be/gct92iFX08Q?t=9m46s -> https://youtu.be/zrB1K7ncYSk?t=5m39s (Partial body intact and gained knowledge from the one he ate.)

There's also Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion, where a blob absorbs and gets the suit's power and shape.

That's just some I can think of the top of my head, quite a few others that I can't remember or am too lazy to go find atm.

Let's also not forget that No-Face is transparent-ish has a mask as well as a mouth, when he's "thin"he's more of a ghost/ spirit, "walking" upright, while he's "fat" he's blob-like, sure, but still has a giant mouth and mask, as well as limbs he walks/ crawls with, still semi-transparent on either form at no point is he Like Aldrich that I can recall, even personality-wise they're completely different, looking back on it the only thing they had in common is they eat people...and barely that, No-Face only eats like 3 people (which he spits out anyways), to be honest, the more I tried to look for similarities, the more doubtful I became of it being a reference at all.

    >His lower body is very serpent-like, you can see it here for example...

Hmm I mean it looks like goo underneath all that half-digested crap all over it, why would it have random skeletons half-sticking out if not goo?

I'm not saying it's watery goo, but more like sludge or denser goo, you know?

We also have to keep in mind hardware limitations, they can't really have a perfect goo with goo physics(?) with debris and all that, it's difficult enough to make decent goo physics but making goo physics in a constantly moving boss that's digesting a bunch of skeleton ON TOP of everything else going on in that room...I think they'd rather make sure the fight runs well and having a cool design, than worry about the gooeyness of the bottom part of his body.

    >its also heavily implied that Aldrich just dreamt about Priscilla and thus aquired the miracle.

Ok fair enough, the whole deal with that is pretty iffy, especially considering we're dealing with the painted world, so I'll agree that one's up for debate.

After informing a bit more, it seems like Berserk is the best answer to my question. Now I wonder, whether this is the first of the English series. The release date is from 2009 while the next volumes are from 2004.

Is this 2009 release just a remake? Is it as good/the same as the original?

Thanks

Only written lore is found in game or originated from in game. I know that some of the Soulsborne games have a written guide which you can buy. These books could also discuss the game's lore.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/3869930896?ie=UTF8&camp=213733&creative=393177&creativeASIN=3869930896&linkCode=shr&tag=epi096-20&linkId=OW27YEBX3WFRICVX&s=books&qid=1523036469&sr=1-1&keywords=9783869930893

This link is to the book guide for Dark Souls Remastered which has lore written by Epicnamebro. But as I said the information you would find in these books is probably information you could find in the games.

If you want other sources of Dark Souls lore you can check out other youtube channels like The Ashen Hollow, Mitch L, Aegon of Astora. They posted some great Dark souls lore videos.

The only thing you really need in the beginning is a practice pad like that one, this book and a pair of sticks.

If you can bear practicing like this without giving up because of the boredom that is learning the fundamentals, a second-hand e-drum kit is an inexpensive and space-saving way of getting into playing on a whole set. It also means you won't annoy your neighbors too much.

Its been a long journey but I am definitely still learning. The book Drawing with the Left Side of the Brain has a lot of really decent activities that can get you started: https://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Right-Side-Brain-Definitive/dp/1585429201

The problem is that it is like any other skill in that the time involved getting to a level you are happy with can take a LOT of time and forces you to neglect other things you could be doing with your time.

I got my books in 2007-2010, but here's a link to the Latin 1 textbook on Amazon with the same cover that I have. Latin 2 is green, and 3 is blue. In Latin 4, all we did was translate poetry, and my "textbook" was Ovid's "Metamorphoses"

This person's translations are done via the direction of Cambridge's Latin textbooks.
Considering the high regard its curriculum is placed in, I consider this to be a far more accurate transcription than those 2 videos.
