Happily. Here a few few quick resources I found for you:

And here a couple references that might interest you if you want more detail on what we generally expect from fiction:

Now, I hope you don't mind if I assume you may feel that I have attacked your opinion of ME3 with my comments. It wasn't my intention to say that you can't enjoy it. Hell, I'm happy for you if you did. But there is a real difference between enjoying something and believing it is good.

In the case of ME3, we can see that some of the most well established principles of writing, thematic and structural elements which are integral to the crafting of a quality narrative, have been abandoned.

If you honestly want to know more, I'd encourage you to take a course in creative writing, or even better, in literary history. With a little background and perspective, you can start to understand why some books, films and games seem to be lacking and why others have a stronger appeal.

EDIT: As I look at your post again, I wonder why you are asking me for specific examples at all, when I have clearly outlined a major structural failing of the narrative in my last post. Oh well, maybe this additional information will be of use to you anyway.

I would suggest Deadpool Classic Vol. 2. Volume 1 is fine, but just covers his introduction to the Marvel Universe. Volume 2 is where Joe Kelly finally got his hands on the character and is considered by many fans the best writer Deadpool ever had.

That's not quite the full story. According to this excellent book, Nintendo stuck with cartridges simply so that all orders for game production had to come through them. They had final control over the entire production of SNES/N64 cartridges, giving them a much, much bigger profit margin than if they just sold licenses to develop and release games for their platform, like Sony did.

Everyone should be using rechargeable batteries for everything at this point.

They're more economical than the microsoft kits, you can charge another set while you play, and the batteries work for other stuff too. IMO these are the best solution, so I applaud microsoft for leaving the option open. Still not buying an xbox one though :P

Yeah I found the book. So it appears the author was just roleplaying but even the reviews suggest he seemed like he might have gone overboard in that regard. I remember passages where it seemed like he was making a point of asserting it was real which is probably just him trying too hard not actually being insane.

Give this book a read. It's a really easy and actually gives a good history of PC gaming.

Older Atari arcade equipment had a pretty interesting testing process. They had the biggest guy in the company try to break them. If he could break it, you had to redesign it.

I think this was the book I read that in.

You'd need more than that.

You may have settled your output but without any input, what is gonna come out of your body?

Therefore, I recommend this & this.

So, that list is worth losing $30 for a trade in? Or lose $60 for a PC game you can't return.

I thought consumerism was about trying to save money, not just shovel it into the corporate machine. But hey, look, here's a very nice shovel for $30.

It seems to take place decades after XCOM1 (maybe commander was cryogen, "now that we have our best weapon", could be the command center or the commannder himself).

Which could mean that the forces seen in XCOM1 could be a scout force? And that invasion occurs following the events of XCOM1.

They're actually releasing a book that might explain some of the missing time: http://www.amazon.ca/XCOM-2-Resurrection-Greg-Keyes/dp/1608877124

>If you compare the Nephilim Edition for $379.99 to the Collector's Edition for $109.99 you will see that the statue comes with both of them. It looks like the board game is what is increasing the price by $270. This seems like a lot of money to me for a board game and a bigger box, but I don't collect board games.

I KNOW, just like how movie-esque Sonic Adventure was!

Cost of 15 Blu Ray 4x, 25GB discs: 20USD, therefore 0.75USD per disc.

Cost of 1 4GB USB thumbdrive: 8USD.

Besides, there are plenty of copy protection on the blu-ray; in fact, the DVD has copy protection too (which is why DVDs never exploded like CDs did, and blu-ray weren't as popular as both CDs and DVDs: copy protection).

The quest is an easter egg reference to this crazy fantasy novel: http://www.amazon.com/The-Sad-Tale-Brothers-Grossbart/dp/0316049344

Enjoyable but also incredibly nasty at times.

So... Persepolis: The Video Game?

I wanted to link the Wikipedia article about the comic, but Reddit's linking system fucks up when the link has parentheses in it.
