I've never had an issue with it affecting the touch controls, pointing, dragging, or optics. They look fantastic. Just buy them on Amazon & you're good to go. No Apple Store involvement. Most of them have lifetime warrantees too. And if you don't like them—return them & get something else.
Plus ... they'll help in resale value. When I upgraded my Xs Max to a new 11 pMax Apple ended up giving me an additional $50 over the quoted $600 on my trade because mine was in pristine shape. Color me surprised! lol But that's what happens when you're covered from front to back, top to bottom—I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I picked this one up. Shows my green through the back case and has a pretty good grip. So far I like it.
I don’t use a case and find the phone pretty grippy. I’m not careless though, and also keep it in a sleeve while not in use.. i find the biggest challenge with going caseless is the phone slipping out of pockets, and the sleeve solves that quite easily.

It’s a cool looking case I just don’t like that it’s translucent. It would look gold with a black or green iPhone for sure though!

I have this one, and it literally covers the entire viewing area on the screen. It goes past the viewing area by approx 1mm. Phone still fits in a case just fine and i dont notice any decrease in visibility.
